Wow what a great arcade game with great music. I love all the elements; the Arknoid/Breakout bat and ball game with power ups and the pinball elements with flippers, bumpers and buttons you have to hit to unlock sections of the level. Love the banging music that goes with this game. If I had to make any complaints it would be the bloom effects at the bottom of the screen sometimes make it hard to focus on the paddle; other than that I would love more music and levels (level editor perhaps to much to ask for)
Brick breaker pinball + rave music/visuals + fast paced = Challenging and fast casual game with 60 levels. Collect power ups to help clear levels. Stage designs are interesting and fun.
I really enjoy this game, the fast pace etc, but damn, please have a setting to turn down the strobe effects, I dont even have issues with strobes. but this is just a bit too much for anyone eyes.
One of the best arcade games you can get on Steam. It combines Pinball and Arkanoid with techno music, making the game really fun and addictive to play. The game has 4 difficulty options to choose from, and has 50 levels to play through that gets challenging in the later stages. And since the game supports mouse input, you can play the game with an arcade spinner. Also, the developer is really nice, and willing to listen and take feedback.
Nostalgic block breaker: Fun, engaging and love them beats!
This game is a lot like breakout but more of a neon feel to it, Its a good game however for me personally I'm terrible at it, i've never been good at this type of game, but its fun to play then I end up making a silly mistake and lose a ball easily and I then wreck my chances of beating my highscore I would recommend this game to anyone who's a fan of retro gaming
Boy oh boy, talk about getting in a party mood. The game is fun and the music is absolutely phenomenal. A perfect match! Kudos to Retro Twist Games and DJ Yan!
I love Pinball. I love Breakout. I love EDM. So of course this was a must buy. I 100% completed the achievements, and spent 10 hours on it, and giving it a thumbs up. So I love it right? It's complicated: Pros: - Theme was great - Music was good - Level design was good with some exceptions - Length of game was excellent value for the price - Leaderboards: Check - Achievements: Check - Being able to end the level when down to 3 bricks is a nice touch - Being about to buy an extra ball with points is a nice touch Cons: - The pinball flippers were not implemented well IMO - The difficulty was a bit all over the place - Some level design issues - Minor bugs - Lack of key configuration and mouse speed - The crossfade between songs was weird because the songs don't blend with each other well - a quick level restart would be nice for when you have a bad start The idea behind this game is amazing. But I feel the execution could be better. I did not find the flippers to be very impactful to the gameplay. There are mini flippers on your paddle, and most of the levels have some flippers you can actuate. But the ones on the paddle don't do that much and are hard to use, and the ones around the playfield don't have a good feel, sometimes get stuck and stop working, and it's not always obvious (to me) which will be connected to the left and right buttons. So I ended up playing this as a more standard breakout clone and mostly ignored the flippers. The achievements were a little annoying too. I noticed there are achievements based on difficulty so I played through the whole game on the highest difficulty (Frantic) but it did not award the Hardcore difficulty achievements at the same time like many/most games would, so you do have the play through the entire game at least twice to 100% it. Probably my biggest gripe is lack of customization. I used a combination of mouse and keyboard, but you can't remap the buttons/keys so I used a really awkward hand position so I could be ready with the button to end the level when you're down to 3 bricks, but still have quick access to fire when that powerup came along. My mouse was a tad too fast and I didn't find a way to slow it down within the game, and I have it's speed dialed in the way I like it for Windows / other games so didn't want to fix it there, so I just dealt with it. Some level design choices I would change: Putting a spinner too close to the paddle was more annoying than challenging. It's almost always an instant ball drain when the ball is fast and going to bounce off in a random direction just an inch above your paddle. The final Stage 7 levels with the paddle at the top and bottom was also hard, but annoying-hard not fun-hard. You have to get lucky because to catch a good powerup at the bottom and not drain the ball at the top is not possible way too often. Bottom line, I obviously liked it enough to play it a lot, and for the price it's a steal.
If the really fun gameplay isn't enough to keep you playing for hours and hours then the awesome soundtrack will definitely have you hooked. Great fun for the whole family.
