Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/Dpto50lLjy8 This is not a good game. You already knew that from the new listed price of $2 USD. The question is, "Is Reality End (Early Access) VR worth $2 USD?" I'm afraid the answer is no. This just isn't a good game and there are better free MP games available. I would even suggest paying more for something like Pavlov VR where you'll have a lot more fun. Reality End is a VR MP shooter. It's running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. However, I could not change visual quality from poor. Still, I noticed some performance issues with pop-in. It was prevalent throughout the map, which really shouldn't happen on low quality on my RTX 3080. You have full locomotion and snap turning (although the snap turn angle is like 30 degrees and it's just too slow). You can also run, jump, & slide. You have first person or third person view. You can aim down sights or hip fire. You have four classes and 5 maps. The store page says there are 6 hero types, I have no idea what that means. There is an item shop where you can buy some items, including new weapons (maybe that's where they get 6). Unfortunately, there's just too many fundamental problems with this game for me to recommend it. The weapon handling is awful. You basically just have a reticle on your screen that you can move around by wriggling your wrist. The maps are ugly and uninspired (I have seen much better maps made by the Steam Community in the Steam Workshop). While there are no game-breaking bugs, there's enough little bugs there to make this game unpleasant to play. That includes the weapons not always firing when you press trigger. The UI is also ugly as hell and nobody is playing this game online. I never saw anybody else playing on a Saturday during different times of the day. I checked Steamdb just to be sure, and yup, nobody plays this. It is dirt cheap, it runs pretty smoothly on low settings on my RTX 3080, and you can re-center your playspace. Those are all the positives I can think of. So I just can't recommend this game. Rate 4/10.
Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. This and every other Pro feature is free until October 20, 2026. A free account is all it takes.
It is not good and the maps are straight from asset store, thats why the graphical style is really wierd. I would definetly not play this.
Best price for Unity game
Warning: Dead PVP Game This game has no meaningful single player content, and no playable PvP servers. There is no functioning PvP population, it's a dead game, and cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Asset Flip! Reality End is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of different Unity asset packs and cobbled them together in a half-baked train wreck, then gave up when nobody wanted to buy and play his garbage asset flip. We can see assets stolen from MFPS 2.0, the Advanced Sniper Starter Kit, the Air Strike Starter kit and more... the guy definitely did a lot of shopping before trying to get YOUR money for someone else's game assets. It has no value or merit as a real game. The focus of the asset flip is pure PvP, there's no single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the game. The vast majority of PvP-only games fail because they don't "go viral", and without players, or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. The game was abandoned roughly 3 years after launch and hasn't been updated in 2 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. The game will never be completed. This was designed primarily for VR (but it will work without a headset, not that anyone would want to try). The VR focus of the game is a major crutch here, because without VR, this compares poorly to professionally developed games. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. The developers made the fatal, lazy mistake of believing that PvP, other players, would be an acceptable substitute for doing the difficult job of adding single player level design, storytelling, NPCs and other rich aspects of designed game content to the game. As a result of this choice by the developers, the game has little to no actual interactive game content. It's a little considered fact that the vast majority of PvP only, multiplayer only games fail. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for doing the job of game developers and building a game filled with content. PvP only games must have a huge player base for them to "go viral" and succeed. But with no single player experience to add lasting value to a game, the developers instead chose to bet against all odds that their game would "go viral" without any actual reason for players to want to play the game. Predictably, they lost this bet. Compounding this problem, the developers made the terrible mistake of launching a multiplayer only game in Early Access. This is almost certain to kill the game. Most gamers will evaluate a game only once. If they do so when the game is incomplete, they will check it out, then abandon it (just like the developers did). When (IF) the game eventually does get around to release, there will be no players, because the developers burned the first impressions through their faulty Early Access experience. Players who saw the game and didn't like it because it was incomplete do not come back. Multiplayer games must have a large population if they are to go "viral" and succeed, especially without single player content to fall back on. Releasing a multiplayer only game into early access kills the game population, and thus the game, before the game even launches. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Unethically, the developers have left this on the Steam store in a dead, abandoned and unplayable state (because there's no players and no meaningful single player content). It's the responsibility of the developer to maintain their product, ensure it runs on all modern PCs, or if they determine there's defects and the game doesn't work, or the population dies, they should remove it from sale instead of misleadingly trying to scam gamers into buying knowingly dead/unplayable products. This is harmful to Steam and to gamers, not just because it's a direct and intentional attempt to scam people, but because it takes a share of the marketing space and visibility away from other games. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience. This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 110,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! The developer is deliberately and unethically trying to scam gamers into paying them the laughable price of $20 USD for an asset flip they know is abandoned, dead and unplayable. Don't give it to them. For comparison, the $20 asking price for this game could get you games like "Stray", "New World" or "Red Dead Redemption 2". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
ne pas acheté c'est une arnaque ce n'est mème pas un jeu VR
When i started this game i had high hopes for a nice fps shooter. The things the dev showed us was also like a fps shooter. Once the game starts u had to login with some credentials. I told him that was a waste of time so he added the login as "guest" feature also. Now the game itself is in 3 th person , i dont know if 3th person and a flying camera around it is such a good idea. The game made me sick. I had to stop. After that the dev said he was gonna make it first person and alot of changes would be done but i think this is gonna be a nice try to make a game but in this state its failed. Or .... Alot of things need to change to make this game worth it. Just tried the game again to see if something was changed and yes it was. player name user154578 remember me : check couldnt start the game anymore. cant make the review any better but its even worse now. not starting at all. press joysticks to re center... nothing happens.
