"Cherry-picking and other fruits"
Rary is a simple game like to run around as a bird and try to pick all the fallen fruits away before the middle counter goes up to 20. Controls are quite clunky as you move with WASD but steer your bird with mouse movements. Each fruit can be picked only if it is in your viewfield, close enough and on the ground. That can be harsh if you are too close to 20 (game over) or fruit is blocking you on your way but you cannot pick it away immediately. But the worst and even gamebreaking I find the unclear counting system. It always shows not the exact number of objects on the screen. Sometimes you wonder what you can pick up if score goes up, but nothing is left to pick. It seems also the minus score mushrooms also have to be picked up to reduce your score -1 and heat level at the same time. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2075472427 It's either unfair to count right atm falling fruits while you can only pick fruit from the ground directly, but not in the air. Somehow I still managed to beat the highscore of 100. But it is still unclear how to unlock the XXX score? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2073536016
INSTALLING NOTHING
Rary is a simple 3D rendered top down action game made in Unity. Low poly "voxel" fruit falls from the sky and you control a low poly voxel bird and peck the fruit to eat it. That's all there is to the game. This barely qualifies as a game and feels like an asset flip from a game making tutorial. There's barely any gameplay. The graphics are abysmally poor. The developer didn't even bother with a texture or design for the floor, as the screenshots show, it's just a grey plane. Obviously because this is such a shallow experience and probably an asset flip, I can't recommend people should pay money for it.

Rary is a compact arcade experience that embraces simplicity and turns it into the foundation of its appeal. Developed by Remy Moreau and published by RemyM un artiste, the game focuses on a straightforward objective: guide a bird around the screen and collect falling fruits while preventing the play area from becoming overwhelmed. At first glance the concept appears extremely basic, but beneath that minimal setup lies a surprisingly engaging challenge that rewards concentration, quick decision-making, and efficient movement. The gameplay revolves around gathering as many fruits as possible to increase your score. The real challenge emerges from the constant stream of objects falling into the environment. Players cannot simply collect items at their leisure because the game imposes a strict limit on how many fruits can remain on the field at once. If too many accumulate, the session ends immediately. This creates a steady sense of urgency, forcing players to balance score chasing with crowd control. Every movement matters, and successful runs depend on anticipating where fruits will land and determining which ones should be collected first. Adding variety to the formula are mushrooms that act as hazards rather than rewards. Unlike the fruits that contribute positively to your score, mushrooms reduce your progress when collected. Their presence introduces an additional layer of risk management, as players must react quickly while avoiding costly mistakes. This simple distinction between beneficial and harmful items keeps the gameplay from becoming repetitive and encourages sharper focus during longer sessions. Visually, Rary adopts a colorful voxel-inspired art style that complements its accessible nature. The graphics are intentionally uncomplicated, allowing players to immediately identify important objects without unnecessary distractions. The bright presentation gives the game a friendly atmosphere, while the clean visual design ensures that the action remains readable even when numerous objects occupy the screen. Although the visuals are not technically ambitious, they suit the game's arcade roots and contribute to its charm. The inclusion of physics-based interactions helps make each session feel slightly different. Falling objects create unpredictable situations that require fast reactions and constant adaptation. Combined with the game's relaxing musical backdrop, the result is an experience that manages to feel both calm and tense at the same time. The soothing audio encourages players to settle into the rhythm of play, while the increasing pressure of managing the field keeps the challenge alive. Where Rary succeeds most is in delivering an experience that is immediately understandable. There are no complicated mechanics to learn, lengthy tutorials to endure, or deep systems to memorize. Players can jump in within seconds and begin competing for higher scores. This accessibility makes it well suited for short play sessions and casual gaming breaks. However, the same simplicity that makes the game approachable also limits its long-term depth. Those seeking extensive progression systems, multiple game modes, or a rich narrative may find the experience lacking after extended play. Despite its modest scope, Rary demonstrates a clear understanding of what it wants to be. It offers a focused arcade challenge built around quick reflexes, efficient resource management, and score improvement. The combination of simple mechanics, charming visuals, and replay-oriented design creates a pleasant experience for players who enjoy classic high-score pursuits. While it may not provide enough content to sustain long-term engagement for everyone, it delivers exactly what it promises: a light, entertaining, and accessible arcade game that rewards persistence and skill.
