This game is very close to being a hidden gem. I had a blast playing it. It’s a simple arena tank shooter that’s easy to pick up and put down. I purchased it specifically to play on my Steam Deck for when I have 10 minutes to spare. I genuinely loved this game and recommend it if you’re looking for a fun little tank game to play or if you’re willing to spend $1. However, there are some factors that prevent me from recommending it to everyone. First, the controls. I knew it wasn’t “Verified” for the Steam Deck, but it still works perfectly. The controls using the mouse pads on the Deck are great. The only thing preventing it from being fully controller compatible and being better for the Deck is the aiming indicator, you can move it freely. If the aiming indicator were fixed a few inches from your tank while using a controller, it would be ideal for controller support. However, on the Deck, it tends to launch into a corner when using the joystick, leaving only the track pads as a good option for aiming precisely. There’s a significant issue even if the aim indicator was locked when using a controller. many weapons shoot at the ground where you aim, rather than in the direction where you are aiming. This makes hitting enemies off-screen nearly impossible. Either you can’t hit them because you’re shooting the ground, or with the few weapons that can shoot off screen, you miss because the enemy indicators are just not accurately pointing at the enemy. Other games with similar mechanics don’t give me as much trouble, so while it is a skill issue, there is room for improvement. The UI is basic and simple, no option to rebind keys which is annoying, but not really needed since you only need WASD and like 3 other buttons. Would be nice to make shift the boost though, feels better to me. The pause menu is AWFUL. When you pause in a game, the "Main Menu" button is at the top, highlighted in red, and based on years of gaming it really would seem to be the continue button. I ended at least 2 decent runs due to this. You have to "Cancel" out of the pause to continue your game, just.. Why? This is really bad, It should be renamed to "Continue", and should be at the top. Main Menu should have a "Are you sure" confirmation screen. Some issues I had with the enemies. While they have diverse weapons, they boil down to two movement types: semi random movement or direct;y toward you. Some enemies “swoop” more aggressively or widely, but overall, it’s just these two movements as far as I can tell. There seems to be only one enemy type that will shoot randomly, making dodging pretty easy just moving in big circle unless an enemy spawns on top of you which sucks. Enemies spawning on top of you is an issue for one enemy specifically, despite patch notes claiming that suicide enemies spawn farther away, they still appear right in front of you, making it nearly impossible to dodge them. The suicide enemies rush straight at you, sometimes spawning on the other side of the arena where you can’t see them. They speed up off screen and hit you in the blink of an eye, resulting in what feels like a cheap shot. I really only have complaints about three enemy types: the suicide enemies (as mentioned above), the mortar tanks, and the rocket turrets. These turrets pop up anywhere, shoot two missiles, then activate an invincible shell. They either disappear into the ground and reappear elsewhere or wait before opening back up. The real challenge is that their missiles are nearly impossible to see if there is a lot going on, forcing you to stay hyper-focused or risk taking more cheap, unfair hits. Exploding enemies should go slow until they are on screen, then speed up to rush at you. Missile turrets should have easier to see missiles, and an obvious sound indicator that missiles have been shot at you. Or not shoot until on screen instead of spamming missiles at you from off screen constantly. The mortar tanks will shoot mortars at you (Shocker) at long distance, this is great, but they should have a minimum shooting range, or shoot upwards if you are close to them, the mortar hits the ground really fast making it impossible to dodge if you are near the tanks, hurting you, and damaging themselves. This means you cant be near them when they shoot, locking your movement quite a lot or risk taking damage, another cheap shot. A minimum firing range so they try not to shoot themselves, or forcing them to shoot upwards a lot more instead of a tiny little arc, would really fit the idea of a long ranged mortar shot much better. Moving on to power-ups and upgrades, they’re mostly okay. However, I really disliked how health upgrades are done. You can only upgrade your max health by rolling a dice and hoping to land on the health boost. There’s no other way to increase health. Damage upgrades double each time they are purchased, meaning you are only getting 3-4 upgrades reasonably. A better approach would be a dice exclusive +2 repair after each wave or room, and the option to purchase max health. The health boost doesn’t always appear on the dice during runs so you are unlikely to double your health with the current method, and would likely max out at 10 health a room or wave with the little suggestion. The hacker "upgrade" lets you skip the upgrade room, but besides paying for that, you are forced to choose a random piece of equipment, if you have a build you like, you are going to have to mess it up a little constantly. The upgrade terminal is lacking, you can upgrade your damage, and your boost meter. The other options are the hacker or repair options. Damage and repair get super expensive real fast as mentioned, so you are forced to use them super sparingly, especially since you can only choose one per terminal. I didn't know what the hacker upgrade even did until I was typing this review, when bought, it should remove the equipment choices to make it obvious the doors are open. And should not be purchasable if the doors are already open. Some of the power-ups are basically useless, the shock teleport blinks you to your aiming indicator and deals damage which would be good if you could see more than a few inches. And while it does deal damage, it cannot reasonably be used offensively as enemies snap to your new location instantly with no turn speed, shooting at your new location without any pause. Blinking into enemies is a sure way to take damage, and you cant easily get away from enemies since your view is so limited. This really needs i-frames. Mines are basically useless since there are lots of mortar tanks, and they will destroy your mines as they shoot where you are and the delay of the shots means they will hit your mines 90% of the time, blowing them, and sometimes you as well up. The upgraded mines place more in a larger area which means you are more likely to take damage. The achievements are not all clear, especially the fly and inferno tank ones, which are for killing bosses in the arena mode that spawn on levels 20 and 30 or something, but its not that bad all things considered. Except for one of the secret achievements... getting to level 20 in surrounded mode takes forever as the enemies per wave grows exponentially. Wave 15 gets to like 200 enemies, and wave 19 has like 450. This achievement takes like 2 hours due to the sheer number of enemies. And is frustrating as you get hit with cheap shots from missiles and enemies spawning on or in front of you. Overall, I loved this game, it gave me a short flashback to Tanks (1997) which is a game I grew up on, and with a little tweaking, this would be a perfect hidden gem for any arena shooter lover, or achievement hunter.
===2021-0625 小遊戲畫面很弱,但遊戲性還不錯。 若能把這遊戲概念再發展成完整規模的rogue類會更好。
Un buen juego con personalidad de vehiculos voxelart enun roguelike de tanques y unos cuantos drones

Honestly this game is fun for being under a single us dollar. I would totally suggest this to anyone who likes rougelike games a simple pick it up and play game. Its not too hard and not too easy.
Прикольная игрушка на убивание времени, на большее не рассчитывайте. Хорошая графика, не грузит видеокарту. Стоит 27-ми рублей, за которые приобрел.
