not really a finished game. feels stale very quickly

I really wanted to like this game because the core concept is fun and original. Unfortunately, the execution falls flat. The game also contains AI slop. Overall it doesn’t feel worth the full price for what it offers. The positives first. The 3D car models are excellent. The level of detail is genuinely impressive, and the cars are packed with components. Simply buying, rebuilding, and restoring the cars could be enjoyable on its own. I also like the wrenching mechanics and how the parts fit together. It feels logical and well designed, and it’s clearly the most well thought out part of the game. Now what I dislike. First: the AI slop. The game is filled with generative AI thumbnails. They look lazy and often lack visual consistency. They’re easy to spot, and I would have preferred the developers to be transparent about using generative AI assets. The main gameplay and career progression also feel very shallow. Anyone familiar with rallies, whether as a fan, driver, or casual viewer, knows that service is one of the most important parts of the sport. Crashes are the exception, not the rule. In the game, however, the rally radio gives you complete knowledge of everything happening during the stage. The commentator somehow sees everything and probably already knows what’s wrong with the car before the driver does. When the car returns to service, there’s no atmosphere. No animation of the car arriving or being put on jacks. Even small details like that would have added a lot. My expectations was that the driver should arrive, briefly explain what happened and what they think is wrong, and then you would have to diagnose the issues yourself while the clock is ticking. That would add pressure and strategy. But instead, the game simply gives you a full list of problems immediately. Because of this, there’s no investigation or decision-making. It just becomes a quick checklist of small repair tasks - almost like a speedrun version of Car Mechanic Simulator. There are also smaller immersion issues. The car always gets muddy regardless of surface type, even on dry asphalt rallies. You’re forced to wash the car every time, and you can’t make strategic decisions about skipping maintenance tasks like teams sometimes do in real life. Another issue is that something always goes wrong every stage. There’s always damage to fix, whereas in real rally service you often spend time checking fluids, inspecting components, and looking for potential issues rather than repairing crash damage every single time. Because of this, the gameplay becomes repetitive very quickly. After two or three rallies (about 30–40 minutes), you’ve basically experienced everything the game has to offer. Honestly, Rally Mechanic Simulator would probably have worked better as a DLC or expansion for Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 rather than a standalone title. At €/$20, it asks too much for what is ultimately a fairly limited experience. The game had potential, but the small issues add up and make it hard to enjoy it for what it tries to be. Maybe consider it if it gets a large discount. 3/10, would want to hit a tree again.

ужасно не оптимизированная игра с большим количеством непонятных вылетов. Не тратьте на это чудо деньги, она не стоит и 1доллар. Я так и не смог получить достижение за поездку по тестовому кругу, потому что игра просто не хочет на тестовый круг заходить и вылетает каждый запуск.

内容比较丰富，汽车管路线路线路比较清晰，总体不错。但是目前遇到了一个严重的bug，在参加一次比赛后打开零件库存界面后全部变成了相同图标并失去了选择的功能，而且零件维修功能也失效了，没有办法继续游戏。尝试读取存档或者选择不同的比赛后依然存在这个bug。 The content is quite rich, and the car's tubing and wiring are clearly laid out, so overall it's good. However, a serious bug has been encountered: after participating in a race, opening the parts inventory interface shows all parts with the same icon and the selection function is lost. Additionally, the part repair function is also disabled, making it impossible to continue the game. Attempting to load a save or selecting a different race still results in the same bug.

cooles rally game aber texte sind auf englisch und auch messwerzeuge kann ich sowie den testtrack nicht nutzen und motortausch wäre schön sowie motoren komplett aus zu bauen und ein lager für ersatzteile wie reifen und fahrwerk wäre nett sonst muss man alles neu kaufen und das ist antregen für die verschiedenen prüfungen und als fahrer kann ich auch noch nicht fahren hoffe das wird alles per update behoben danke

Underrated. This game is interesting only if you like mechanic work and work for a rally team. This game is not meant to be a driver, and there is a lot of work to do to make it possible.
