Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Rainbow Rage Squad is a colorful 2D platformer that deliberately transforms frustration into entertainment. Developed by Brent Seeley and published by Gamepadable, it is designed around demanding jumps, wall-based movement, dangerous traps, repeated failures, and the satisfaction of eventually conquering sections that initially seem unreasonable. Rather than relying on a complicated story or extensive exploration, the game concentrates on straightforward platforming challenges that test timing, patience, and consistency. The central mechanics are easy to understand but considerably harder to master. Players must navigate stages filled with obstacles such as saw blades and other environmental hazards while carefully judging jumps and wall movements. Success often depends on learning the behavior of the character and understanding exactly when to commit to each maneuver. Mistakes can happen quickly, so repeated attempts become a normal part of progression. This creates an experience aimed primarily at players who enjoy improving through practice rather than simply moving through levels without much resistance. Adventure Mode forms the main portion of the experience, offering 40 levels along with four boss encounters. The stages maintain the game's intentionally hostile attitude toward the player, presenting layouts designed to encourage mistakes and test precision. Its humorous presentation helps keep the difficulty from feeling completely serious, with the entire concept embracing the anger that difficult platformers can generate. Unlockable content provides another incentive for players who want to explore everything instead of simply reaching the end. Time Attack adds an effective layer of replayability to the platforming formula. After becoming familiar with a stage, the objective can shift from merely surviving to completing it efficiently. This encourages players to refine movement, reduce hesitation, and discover faster ways through previously troublesome areas. The mode suits the game's mechanics particularly well because improving a completion time provides a measurable demonstration of increased skill. Players who enjoy repeatedly mastering the same challenges are therefore likely to get more value from the game than those interested only in finishing every level once. Multiplayer is another significant part of the package. Rainbow Rage Squad supports local play for up to four participants, including cooperative and competitive possibilities. Battle Mode moves away from straightforward level progression and allows the mechanics to become the foundation for direct competition. The combination of difficult movement and several players creates plenty of opportunities for accidental failures and chaotic moments. Local cooperative play can similarly turn frustrating sections into a shared challenge, making the game particularly suitable for a group comfortable with demanding arcade-style platformers. Controller input is the preferred way to play. The design was created with gamepads in mind, particularly Xbox-style controllers, although keyboard controls are available. Since precise movement is so important, using a controller generally fits the intended experience better. The game also supports Remote Play Together, which expands the usefulness of its local multiplayer features when friends cannot physically play on the same computer. Visually, the game uses a bright 2D presentation that provides a humorous contrast to its unforgiving obstacle courses. The colorful aesthetic prevents the experience from looking as hostile as it actually plays, reinforcing the tongue-in-cheek nature of the title. Its graphical approach is functional rather than elaborate, keeping hazards and characters readable while maintaining an arcade-like personality. The accompanying audio and soundtrack support the energetic pace without shifting attention away from the precision platforming. The intentionally frustrating difficulty will be the biggest dividing point. Players who dislike repeating short sections after making a small mistake may quickly become irritated. There is also a relatively focused mechanical scope compared with larger platforming adventures, so longevity depends heavily on enjoying Time Attack, multiplayer competition, unlockables, and repeated attempts at improving performance. The game works much better when its difficulty is viewed as the central attraction rather than an obstacle standing between the player and other content. For Steam Deck users, Rainbow Rage Squad does not have a prominent official Steam Deck Verified or Playable classification to rely upon. Its controller-focused design and relatively straightforward 2D presentation suggest that the basic format is well suited to handheld play, but this should not be confused with an official compatibility guarantee. Players using a Steam Deck should therefore consider its compatibility status effectively unverified and be prepared for the possibility of configuration adjustments or individual compatibility issues. Taken as a complete package, Rainbow Rage Squad is a modest but entertaining precision platformer with a clear understanding of its audience. Forty levels, four bosses, Adventure Mode, Time Attack, Battle Mode, unlockables, local cooperative play, competitive multiplayer, and support for as many as four local players give it a respectable amount of variety. It will not appeal equally to everyone because frustration and repetition are deliberately embedded in its design, but players who enjoy difficult platformers can find considerable satisfaction in gradually mastering its challenges. It becomes even more enjoyable when its competitive and cooperative modes are shared with friends. Rating: 5/10
