This game is so ♥♥♥♥ 100% it, game is still ♥♥♥♥ Play this if you want to get lost in an intricately built world. But only if you hate yourself, of course.

Normally I wait until I've completed a game to review it but I think you can tell by the number of hours I have that I have sufficiently experienced it. Rain World is an experience worth having. There's not much else like it and it does what it set out to do very well. While the story is minimal, it keeps you moving, and that's all it needs to do. Every one of the environments you move through is uniquely punishing in a way that each takes its own skill to master, and overcoming them feels worthwhile. The mechanics are simple but extremely versatile, making the game very much an "easy to learn, hard to master" type, which I really like. Cannot say enough positive about this game, it definitely isn't for everyone, but if you like games that challenge you in any regard, it's worth giving Rain World a try, especially with how affordable it is.

People talk about this game like it gives you a hand job while you play but I actually can't even get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game to run. I shouldn't have to restart it five ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times just to get the controls to work. $25 just to not be able to move the ♥♥♥♥ around
