peaceful
Incredibly relaxing game. Highly recommended.
This is a great game, with lots of stuff to do. It would be nice to have more maps, but think of this as a combination between train simulator and Trainz. The developers have given a lot of attention to detail, and it is easy to play for hours at a time.
- 24.8 hrs played. - The way that the interchange works make it so that the empty cars from the bridge sites just go poof, like, I haven't gotten the track down to Sylva or Dillsboro but i think the cars go to who knows where? Maybe up to god knows where, or I don't know. They could be going northeast for other bridges to be built on the east coast? I don't know. Great game. Edit: - 51.2 hrs played. - Got the A-26 Atlantic. I love it's water and coal capacity. 13.4 Tons of coal maximum, 7,000 gallons of water maximum. It's honestly a good early game/early middle game loco. Love it. Great locomotive.
The game makes for a decently realistic freight conductor simulator, leaving some to be desired regarding other aspects of the game. If you like switching and problem solving, this game is for you. If you would like a hardcore locomotive engineer simulator or an industry simulator, this game might not be for you. The modding community surrounding the game is excellent, however at the current point in time the game does not officially support modding --which means that downloading mods can be jank. The modding community is what keeps me playing, as they have developed content significantly better than what can be found in the base game. One note about mods and the largest problem the game faces: as of right now the game is poorly optimized meaning that your experiences are severely limited by the amount of quality mods you have and the hardware of your PC.
This game takes part in my neck of the woods which is really cool. How do you know about Nantahala? Keep up the great work.
train game go brrrrrr
Oh yeah!

i like the operations side of the game, but the optimization could be better.
