I personally like the CGA aesthetic, having played many games back in the time of the dinosaurs myself. Will not be to everyone's liking and the kids probably won't understand it at all. It's Solitaire with a twist. Run out of legal moves? Then place an unusable card in the "GET RAD" pile and the game turns into a horizontal Arkanoid clone. Your unusable card lies to the right hand side of the screen, behind many breakable bricks. Once your ball hits the card, it begins to cycle through cards from the in play pile. As someone else has mentioned, it can get a little hectic if you have fifteen or twenty balls all slamming into the card. The idea is to remember what cards you need, then try to turn the useless card into one of those. You have to then lose all the balls in play in order to take the new card back into the game. If you happen to lose all the balls and the card has turned to another unusable card, then you have just wasted some time. Wasting time is kind of a mechanic in the game. It's kind of the purpose of Solitaire after all. Heck, there are achievements for time wasting, and the game even lets you know how much time you have wasted on completion of a round. It's silly, it's fun and I will definitely be wasting more time with it. Do you like Solitaire, Arkanoid clones, CGA graphics and a witty visual record of how much of your life you have just wasted on a game? This is for you. Don't like Solitaire, Arkanoid clones, CGA graphics or a visual record of how much of your life you have just wasted on a game? Probably best to avoid. You have wasted three minutes of your life reading this review.
Before I played Radical Solitaire, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
It's Solitaire meets Breakout in a retro 80s computer visual style. It was fun enough for a way to pass the time between waiting for slow co-workers to wrap up the day.

fun idea but the effect you get whenever placing a card is physically painful for the eyes
