Hidden Gem, you can see the game as a buffet of racing games; it has many easter eggs and hints to 80/90s movies and games. It's still in early access but has heaps of potential! Better than most modern racing games.

This game is genuinely CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED AS HELL, and I'm saying this as someone who has seen this game only have way less than 100 Steam reviews at the time. In all honesty, I felt a bit bad just thinking about it, so I figured I'd add a review of my own. When I say "CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED", I absolutely mean it, alright. I did the first stream of this game around 12th of June, 2026, and it was an absolute blast (with caffeine involved, as I took caffeine, people can be different). Safe to say, this game not only can be very fun, but also pretty chaotic, especially if cops get involved. Honestly, races with pursuit happening do remind me of the good old days of Need For Speed, like Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) and even older games before that. The developers behind this also greatly appreciate the feedback they get from the community, which is yet another reason this game's underrated. Certain vehicles were added to this game as community-voted ones, such as "Friend", which is a RC car based off cherished childhood memory in a way, and "Rollin" based off the SL500 Mercedes Benz. So safe to say it may not even stop there, for there may be more cars to come (maybe even more tracks, you never know!), yet to be added into the game. If you loved playing classic retro racing games back in the day, that didn't care about realism, and loved arcade-style racing, then you'll surely love playing this. (Besides, games like this are usually far more fun, not having to worry too much) Just keep in mind that this game does have a push boost system, where you hold the boost key, and release the key as soon as you see the boost bar hit max, for flawless boost. Failing to do so will cost you HP, but you can repair your car.. and if you're not that great at flawless boosting, you can always just drift and let go of the drift key to boost as well. Each to their own preferred playstyle, let it be on a keyboard, or a controller. No judgement here, fun can be had in any way you want to play it, let it be casual, competitive or/and straight up hardcore. But don't you ever dare come around and say that "this game looks like AI slop" unlike certain someone I know who said it in the livestream chat once. Boy, was I FUMING & disappointed after the stream was over, still thinking about it even to this day as I write this... like how dare you say that it looks like one? This game is made with 100% passion, so no AI slop here. PERIOD. Honestly, if anyone else says something similar to that as well, it's clearly obvious they're only doing it to either ragebait you, or/and the developers. Not funny, if you ask me. Like the hell you mean by "looks like AI slop" anyway, like what were you expecting?... Now, I can also see people getting pissy over the game for having a "Roguelike" tag in the store, but let's be honest.. "The Gauntlet" in said game IS the roguelike mode, and roguelikes usually require you to make choices anyway during the run. Even if, say, the rest of the game may not seem roguelike at all, when compared to "The Gauntlet", but that's besides the point. At least it HAS a Roguelike element, even if the whole 100% game may not be roguelike itself. There will likely be more tower gauntlets added in the future, which is also something to keep in mind. But each to their own opinion, I suppose... Can't always please everybody. Besides, the game is only guaranteed to get better overtime, with how appreciate the developers are of the feedback they receive from the community, with how many bugs also get fixed thanks to the Race Jam players reporting them to the devs. Even to this day, we likely have at least a few players who still play Race Jam even to this day, every time a new good update has released. This game is already doing so much stuff better racing-wise than most triple or quadruple A games nowadays, and that's saying something. GENUINELY glad to have found this gem on Steam. Definitely recommend trying it out, if you haven't already (bonus points if you've played arcade games before in the past, especially the older ones)!

Very fun retro arcade style racer that is filled to the brim with 90s nostalgia. For me this made the game feel charming in a way, which is not something I think I've ever said about a racing game. This game really exceeded my expectations. Really like gauntlet mode I hope the other difficulties become accessible soon. The developer is pushing out updates all the time so its kinda fun to check in and see what they added. Really happy I took the chance on this game.

Alright - so I already know that this is a hidden gem. Great game, love the vocalizations, love the driving and stunts. Haven't tried every mode, but this game was immediately fun.

decent sense of speed, you go 235mph. the controls are fine. you get used to them, the COP chases are fun, they'll get you, can't be passive. I really the Repair and Boost system... If you boost you also damage your car. You have to repair it. there's a risk reward at play while you race. you boost 4x you almost bring your car to 15% health. now you have to not crash and repair. boost and repair can't happen at the same time. It's fun. I can't wait to drive the Chevy Camaro !! one of my favorite cars that I owned.

I was sorta put off by the price but I didn't realize this game contained my childhood memories! 10/10 If you like arcade racing mixed with some of the best inclusion of nostalgia I've seen then this game is must!

This game is a work of art, I was sent it for free via emails, I had no clue what this game was about but I can tell a lot of work was put into it, well done to the devs 👏👏

This game has such an awesome vibe! The gameplay does feel like a classic racing game but with updated mechanics and options. It kind of feels like burnout and ridge racer had a baby. The best part is all the stuff you can unlock. It seemed like after every race or two that you are unlocking something new. Another strong point is the audio. The music is super energetic and the announcer adds to the excitement with his hilariously over the top commentary. There are a couple of things I think needs improvement. First the default camera angle is too low. It looks great but once you start going real fast it lowers a bit more and makes it difficult to see in front of you. Second it could use a few more tracks. I know its early access so there are probably more coming but still wanted to mention it. If your on the fence I strongly recommend this game, there is so much to unlock and the gameplay is fantastic!

A racing game with a style. Controls are smooth, gameplay is simple on the surface, but with alot of depth. Awesome visuals & soundtrack. Worth the price.
