Worth $5 if on sale. I like to put on music in the background while im playing, so it is a decent arcade style baseball game if on sale.
This game is crap. Total waste of 20 dollars, unless you constantly have someone to play with.Bots are insanely hard, controls suck, and when your best pitcher runs out of stamina, he goes from pitching 97 to pitching 62. Would not buy this game again.
Triple Play 2000 on PC back in 1999 was better. Was hoping the odd 16 years would see a better baseball game. This one has so much potential but not based on the sales price for sure. Customer Service was great though. After a return I rereturned to buy this game again as was really in the mood to play a baseball sim after my team made the playoffs. This game really let me down. Save your money. Sorry guys.

Slightly improved version of the year before. Again, fun arcade style game. I enjoy it.
Fun game but not worth the 20 dollars maybe 10. A lot of bugs and issues with roster changes. Wish they could make a couple changes like get rid of annoying screen in between innings and should get to watch your player run bases after homerun or show replay. Bug in pitch hitting dirt in front of batter and always swings This or no baseball game for pc will choose this one
This is quite lierally the only MLB Title available unless you still own a copy of MLB 2k10. I loved the RBI Baseball series growing up and to be honest the game mechanics and gameplay style have remained true to the original series that was released in the early '90's. That being said, this game is great if you're looking for that classic fast paced arcade style play. The graphics are tolerable, it really feels like this could have been released for Nintendo Gamecube or the original XBOX albiet the graphics are much better (running a Vega 64). You're not going to get the most amazing gaming experience with all the glamour and poimp of an EA or 2k release but like I said. these guys are the ONLY devs putting MLB titles onto PC and I hope more follow suit with better and more immersive titles. 3/5 stars. Great attempt! Keep adding onto the game!
First of all, there's no tutorial whatsoever so you have to figure the controls out yourself. And when you finally understood them, you can press any button you want and the game either won't do anything or react way too late so you get striked out everytime. And for whatever reason the characters don't have any skin, the parts where there should be skin are invisible only the clothes and bat can be seen.
i purchased this game last played the rbi games on the consoles years back the were good games not great but good this version on the pc is simpley awfull grachics are l terrible and the game is slow and boreing to play not a good baseball game at all myadvice dont wast your money on this one
This game makes me feel like I am acually the one on the field playing the game. The controls for a PC are a little confusing, but it is still fun to play.
This is pure arcade fun! If you are looking for an action sim, go get yourself a playstation and get MLB The Show. RBI stays true to its NES, SNES, and Genesis roots...just pure arcade fun. Enough said!
