fast, cute, a charming intro to the basic mechanics of PF2E
The tank dies every mission, the rouge misses every strike, the mage tank with shield spell, and the cleric being absolute MVP. Great Game.

hell yeah
Great free intro to PF2
A fantastic introduction to Pathfinder 2E's (PF2E) combat system. You learn the fundamental basics of how to think tactically in PF2E: the Fighter's positioning is paramount as he is able to control the battlefield with his attacks of opportunity while simultaneously setting up the Rogue for flanking and sneak attacks. The Cleric's positioning is also important to set up Bless and Heal spells. I play and GM a lot of tabletop Pathfinder 1E/2E and I absolutely love what the developers have accomplished: a snappy, fun, and lighthearted taster of a superior RPG system. Paizo would be proud.
A fun free to play game with PF2E style. Enjoyed the game so much that I replayed it again for YouTube (I don't do that often)
Игра 'Quest for the Golden Candelabra' оказалась увлекательным приключением, полным загадок и юмора.
This is a very well executed proof-of-concept-- I hope the devs build on this framework and release a full game!
"Quest for the Golden Candelabra" is truly amazing. Despite the existence of RPG Maker, developers have found a new low, and worked out a way to make a game that's even worse than a weak RPG Maker asset flip, without even using RPG Maker. A tremendous amount of effort went into something that could have been done better with RPG Maker in a single afternoon. The mind truly boggles. What do you do in the game? Admittedly gameplay here is probably a little better than the console centric RPG Maker gameplay you usually get, following a more traditional retro CRPG model, but then they decided to shove a whole bunch of anime images on it anyway because you can't escape the weeb. Indeed, Pathfinder rules in any game are welcome, it's just a shame they're so badly implemented here. The graphics aren't great... that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. I mean... this on the same platform as Baldurs Gate 3. Baldurs Gate 3... or this... decisions, decisions. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
