Fun, short game. The voices are pretty nice too.
Very fun little game, and it helped me learn a little about pathfinder 2e which is cool
A great adaptation of the PF2e rules for a game! While it didn't have the polish of other titles, it's an excellent proof of concept and any fan of Pathfinder, D&D, or tactical rpgs in general should play!

I love it, when I find out it Pathfinder 2d rules and creator making. I hook for waste of years. If he creator more, I follows
While I can sort of see some appeal, this game is far too clunky for me to have fun with it. The UI and controls need some serious refinement before I'd consider trying it or a sequel out again.
For being free this game is quite awesome. The 2d graphics are nice if simple. There's voice acted cut scenes (some of it is a little rough, but it is there). And the game works! Being based on the Pathfinder Second Edition ruleset the game is balanced, with relatively deep mechanics. While not a full implementation of the 2e ruleset it has more than enough to give you a structured challenge that feels a lot like the tabletop. The encounter design is good with the maps having enough character and terrain. The "Sequel" Dawnsbury Days expands on everything available in Quest for the Golden Candelabra while improving the quality and polish across the board. Still if Dawnsbury Days having a price tag (even if it's small) is a barrier for you and you want to see a technical demo of what's in the game this game is that for sure.
This little game is more charming than it should be. It is also a strong showing of the Pathfinder 2e rule set in a digestible format. It is a shame that there aren't any skill-based events or puzzles (democracy, scouting and stealth mechanics, etc.) but maybe these are found in the other game that comes after this one. Combat is fun and shows the speed at which 2e can be played at. I should have read the entire manual before starting to learn about the mechanics the game's characters did not speak of, such as what a medium rest does, but in the long run that info is unimportant for this passion project. I appreciate this being free and will gladly look at this developer's other pathfinder 2e projects.
This is a full micro experience but also a demo for a larger game. If you go in expecting a very short tactical rpg experience with simple graphics then your expectations will be met with aplomb. The tactical engine is solid, the UI works fine and the combat scenarios thrown at the player requires clever thought to overcome.
