My Experience I feel like I'm missing some sort of gene that would allow me to enjoy a game like this. I'm one of the folks for whom cilantro tastes like soap, so maybe I'm genetically predisposed not to appreciate this sort of game as well. From the outside, it almost seems like something folks find amusing simply because of how strange it is. The main character walks around inexplicably wearing a paper bag on his head. It reminds me of a demo I played of developer Cosmo D's Tales From Off-Peak City Vol. 1 (which I also didn't like), a game that got a lot of traction in certain indie circles. A nightmare fever dream from the Microsoft 3D Movie Maker dimension. I played maybe 30 minutes of QuentBlast before I just couldn't push forward anymore. I wish I could provide more substantive feedback for potential players, but perhaps you already know if this is the type of game that would appeal to you?
enemies regularly do 7-9 damage in the beginning areas, wich would not be a problem if were not for the fact that you only have 20 health, not to mention that the only thing the enemies are used for is to annoyingly and very cheaply battle you only for the express purpose of being an obstacle, and lots of enemies inside buildings get to basically ambush you without you having time to walk around them. this also would not be an issue if you could flee and come back later but for some god-awful inexplicable reason fleeing can fail (how the ♥♥♥♥ that happens i dont know). Combat as it is right now in the game is a chore. you finally get back to an area that you were at when you last died not 5 minutes ago only to get ♥♥♥♥ on with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attacks that do 8-15 damage meaning you either need to be a godsweat perfecting the combat and use of items or just bash your head repeatedly into a cinderblock wall. i get the dev wanted to try combat in a new and exciting way and to some extent it does pay off. the world itself is unique and the characters are whymsical witty and fun but all that ♥♥♥♥ means nothing when the opening area outside the bowling alley expects perfection from you lest you die and lose all your money and items. i reached the rv 6 seperate ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times and each time died on one of the top floors because of the enemies being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. and guess what? you just get booted right back out front of the bowling alley with none of your money or items. i would love to explore this world and see what it has to offer but as it stands right now i just dont feel like doing it solely because i cant even reach any area without just dying and being right back at square one. add more to the tutorial and explain the combat better and make the enemies around the alley do less damage and the game will be fine.

I love this game! the ps1 graphics, and the quirky dialog sell it for me, a bit of platforming, and some unique styled combat with bowling mechanics. this is a great little indie title. Please support this developer and play this game! tons of fun! 5/5
Settings don't work
Before I played QuentBlast, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
QuentBlast is a bowling RPG with an interesting gameplay mechanic in that of bowling a ball through pins in order to do damage to enemies. The concept of what QuentBlast is in terms of it's gameplay is fun. However, the battles you face with enemies are rather difficult as in the starting area you have little health and each enemy does a lot of damage. So it's easy to die and get a game over screen which is not fun. However, I do appreciate the style of QuentBlast which looks like a PS1 game with the humor of the cartoons of the late 90's. Though, I wish this game did not have enemies respawn once you go and defeat a bunch of enemies and your health is down and you restock on food to boost your health as it makes clearing the starting area very difficult. That being said, I give QuentBlast a 6/10. If they made changes to the starting area with mobs making it less difficult, I could see the game being a 6.5/10 or perhaps even a 7. I really dig the humor and the combat system. If your into bowling games or perhaps into the idea of bowling within an RPG. Give this a play.
i am going to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill myself if the full game isnt released? this IS a question
