Ok so hear me out, besides this being a rogue-lite match 3:

You can't click and drag tiles on the board - a cardinal sin for match-3 games
The menu is awkward with a bit of jank, pressing 'Escape' exits the game from fullscreen to windowed mode instead of backing you out of the upgrades menu.
Sound bites for matching things, upgrading and general audio queues are of low sample quality
Progress is gated behind a 'sink' meter so you're trying to keep that from filling while collecting as much treasure before you... sink. Then upgrade, rinse and repeat - forever.
... and yet, the music has no right being as good as it is! For the chill-hop lofi soundtrack and it all being free, Puzzle Plunder makes for an awesome late night kick back and relax experience - highly recommend. Check out the Puzzle Plunder soundtrack by Injekted over on Spotify. It does remind me of the Dustforce's soundtrack if anyone is looking for something similar.
Love the fun optic and the pirate sounds. Alas, it's highly addictive!

Et encore un jeu de merde, un !!!
An EXCELLENT Pirate themed Match 3 Roguelike. Item tiles do different things, like move, battle, open locks, etc. You travel, hit a stop, and then Match 3 to get past the obstacle. The further out you go, the better stuff you find. Your ship is constantly sinking, so match buckets to bail out the ship. Eventually, you will lose, you take all of the stuff you find (each one has different star values in several different sections). Use the stars to buy ship upgrades like lower sink time, buckets do more, find more gold, etc. There are many different items to find, so there's a lot of gameplay here. I am really addicted to this one...
Pleasantly surprised. A decent free game with thought. Fun gameplay loop, good vibe music.
Basic match-3 with a pirate theme, I couldn't get this game to run full screen, it only starts in a windowed mode. When expanding the window, the game bugs up, at least on Linux (runs fine in windowed mode, though). Only for this annoyance I'm not recommending it.
Recommended. For free, you get a well made match 3 game that is meant to be grindy and repetitive. The graphics are charming, concept of sailing and finding collectables is appealing and the progression of improving your ship and stats makes you want to do one more run. It wears off after a couple hours though as it is pretty much the same thing over and over without any new game mechanics. If that doesn't deter you, then you'll likely enjoy this.
