About
Purrrifiers: Cleaning Chaos blends chaos, absurd humor, and real co-op gameplay, defining its own quirky genre - the “Goofylike”. It’s a messy, magical, cat-filled adventure where teamwork, creativity, and a bit of madness are required to survive (and clean).
Half cleaning sim, half fever dream, Purrrifiers: Cleaning Chaos drops players into a world where mops meet magic and every mess hides a story.
Explore the Police Station, Streamer House, Wizard’s Home, Underground Tunnels, the Burnt Dragon Battlefield, and even a forest ruled by a very polite deer.
Your mission? Make it shine. Or at least make it less disgusting. Along the way, you’ll fight Toiletmort, purge computers of digital curses, do laundry, and pet an unreasonable number of cats.
Players can switch between absurdly satisfying cleaning gadgets, including:
Pressure washer, vacuum, sponge, spray, and a magic wand
Color-coded trash bins (for those who still believe in order)
A plunger-on-a-rope, a chip bag for collecting chips, and the legendary Poop Stick™
Crafting and melting stations to upgrade your cleaning empire
In the Trashyard Sandbox, players can wash procedurally generated junk, earn resources, and build the ultimate recycling fortress.
Open world packed with story missions, secrets, and garbage,
Talking cats that hand out quests (and occasionally life advice),
Buffs and debuffs like cringe damage, electric shocks, and healing kisses,
Magic meets mess — clean with wands, defeat bosses, solve weird puzzles
Co-op or solo play — teamwork makes the dream clean
Purrrifiers: Cleaning Chaos isn’t about perfection — it’s about embracing the chaos, laughing at the mess, and celebrating every half-clean corner.
It’s Goofylike, it’s absurd, and it’s waiting for you. Grab a friend, pet a cat, and get your wand ready. Because in this world, cleanliness might be next to catliness — but chaos is never far behind.

Game uses “wacky” humor to disguise its many flaws and bugs. I had some misgivings about this game but assumed it was at least playable but sadly it’s so buggy I could not even finish the tutorial. I then played the main game, same problem. One thing you need in a cleaning game is a solid cleaning mechanic but this game doesn’t have it, very buggy, inconsistent and frustrating. Avoid unless you like buggy, frustrating games.
7/10 – Armed with a mop, a wand, and questionable teamwork, I battled Toiletmort and negotiated with cats for cleaning rights. It’s like PowerWash Simulator drank a potion and embraced chaos. Messy, magical, and purrfectly ridiculous. 🧹✨🐈 Follow for chaotic co-op, magical messes, and games that prove cleanliness is temporary—but catliness is eternal. 🐈✨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/
The game is quite a bit janky, issues with performance, graphical errors, and buggy quests. Beyond that the game uses AI elements, which even if the game states this, I see as a negative aspect to any game. Additionally, the game is meant to be funny but I find the humor very lacking, mainly cringy, and very off the wall. Not my type of jokes or comedy. It's like how young kids think "67" is funny for some reason? This game pretty much is that same type of "funny"
Second review: This is my second review of the game, the original in the comment below. To be transparent the Dev asked me to try again and seeing as Korone seemed to enjoy it I wondered if maybe I missed something she didn’t. My feelings however have not changed much from the original review, other than feeling less angry and more bord. There is less sound pollution and the mayor has finally been silenced. I even manged to get past a few quests but honestly I still just didn't feel it. The jokes didn’t land for me and the whimsical nature of everything gets cringy with the worst being the steamer house and its meme jokes. I also had way more issues this time than last playing the game. It crashed on the loading screen three times and when I tried to collect my equipment I was teleported into water. I couldn’t move, couldn’t turn the camera and even trying to use the teleport to safety button did nothing. I honestly went in wanting to be nice and wanting to give it a positive review as I felt maybe I had been too harsh. I am not as anti AI as others and don’t like that even the scent of AI causes people to immediately dog pile without giving it a chance. Though after playing I found myself asking the one question no gamer should be asking, 'why am I still playing this?' I wasn’t having fun, the cleaning didn’t feel rewarding as unlike other cleaning games there was no xp. I was earning money, sure, but I have zero clue where I am spending it as even when I went looking I found zero shops on the mostly empty island. The only reward for cleaning was more jokes and as they didn't land that was honestly more a punishment. The only hope for enjoyment I can see is playing with friends but if it was crashing that much and loading was that slow for just me… well I can’t see it being stable with four players. Original review: Sorry but I just can't. I wanted to like it, Korone seemed to love it and it seemed like some fun. I just can't though play a second more. I can forgive the AI usage, I can forgive the early access jank but I can't with the dialogue. It is painful to me, like listening to Amy Schumer make the same five 'jokes' while I stare silently with contempt. Even then I could maybe turn my brain off and just enjoy cleaning but by the love of all that is pure THE MAYOR WONT SHUT UP! I am three rooms away and he keeps saying the same three lines in my ear with maybe two seconds of peace between. It is horrible, completely going against the point of cleaning games. It should be relaxing, maybe some dumb things to find, not a constant human alarm in the background with an accent that makes me want to scream. It shattered all interest I had the second I realised I had five other quest lines to do in this building, all the while this fruitcake is yapping the same unfunny, kid friendly, sterile lines like I have been banished to my own hell. In conclusion, less unfunny yapping and more cleaning. And for all that is pure and just muzzle that irritating malformed hell spawn. Even a baby with tic tok brain would want him banished to the shadow realm.
Got this through humble. The AI is pretty obvious, especially in the voice acting, general jank, and weird control mapping. I played a bit and honestly not a fan. It's very confusing, very strange, and leans very heavily on AI generation. I think maybe for a £5 it might be worth a go if you've watched some gameplay and know what you're getting into?
Game was not that much fun, you need to run across the whole world for the 2nd quest so you get into the building, get the quest and then leave the building again only to find out the quest line ends there and tells you to wait for updates. Inventory Management also isnt great, you cant easily pickup trash if you are out of space in your hotbar.
So glad I got this as part of a Humble Bundle because there is no way this game is worth in amount of money in this state. I loooooove cleaning games and I play a TON of Early Access titles but this is really unplayable. The controls are very jankey. The controller controls basically don't work and if you have a 75% or less keyboard you're going to need to remap half the controls anyway but that's fine because even on the tutorial level they don't actually tell you how to do anything. I guess I'll wait to paly this again for awhile to see if they make any updates but as of right now a big do not recommend.
I've put 49hrs now into this game and as much as I want to enjoy this, it's boring real quick. For an early access game, I know there will be bugs, but almost every time a bigger update happens like the suburbs, my saves will end up not working properly, and any new saves created becomes bugged off the start requiring me to either make another new world in hopes that one works, OR I do my only method that's guaranteed me to fix whatever bug has caused a soft lock at the time which is: -Uninstall the game -Going to the following location on my pc: C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\LocalLow\Rubens Games -Deleting the whole Purrrifiers Cleaning Chaos folder -Reinstall the game Then the game "works". Now as for the "works" portion, that's still up for debate. No matter what settings I try, this game looks and feels atrocious. Looking in the distance, you only see green and blue, would remind you of a flatter version of the OG Windows XP desktop photo. Walking closer, things will magically appear out of thin air. Even having all settings on the highest settings, you only get about the length of 5ish houses before everything disappears. For a game that I originally got because of the Friend's Pass portion WHICH I STILL LOVE AND WOULD LOVE OTHER GAMES TO DO, I'm very disappointed with this. Every time there is some sort of update, most bugs are still there from previous builds. It's mainly just moving things around to make it appear something is different. All quests are the same, being able to use or collect items before you should have them will soft lock the game. FOR EXAMPLE - currently can't complete the new suburb house because I was able to click on the pool valve before I had collected all the trash WHICH 2 of them if anyone is missing IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE! Only noticed it from jumping next to the fence in the back yard. Some of the trash is stuck inside the roof as well. Only reason I knew of that one is that's been there since I started playing. The new Suburb map surprisingly plays worse than the original map, and the original map is full of holes you can fall through. Again all bugs from the original map and the new suburb map are pretty much identical. The new suburb map wants me to clean trash around the town, but there isn't a single piece. I mean, I guess I did my job really well on the first save.... /s As others have mentioned, this game TRIES to be funny, but it's really bad. I mean like watching a student trying to do a class reading in the front of the room having an anxiety attack, feeling empathy for the person, and needing to look away. I skip all dialogue because of truly how bad it is. I love games similar to this, it's a great way to unwind and relax, but this game causes more anxiety and frustration because one small move incorrectly can soft lock you to the point where you need to delete your saves like I mentioned above. Even a regular uninstall and reinstall doesn't fix it, the actual save file deletion is the only way to fix it. There is potential for this game, but it needs to be addressed sooner than later. There is so much empty space, no basic graphics like even a base background so you don't have the Windows XP hill in the background, no actual reason to continue playing, and no real content in my opinion. For a game that wants to promote and play with friends, I've completed this game multiple times solo since again, I have to restart every time a new update comes out. I'm probably going to give the game a break for a while and see how this is in a year or so.
I got this game as part of simulator bundle on humblebundle and after playing it with a friend for a little while, I just can't recommend it. It would have been better if they just gave you the tools and set you loose in a location to clean. The quest system is frustrating, as is the waiting around for quests to complete on their own. It's janky and I get that it's supposed to be, but the humor of the ai voices wears extremely thin and the cleaning just wasn't as fun as something like Viscera Cleanup Detail or Powerwash Simulator.
I would not recommend this game. It has AI which I did not realize until after the return point, otherwise I would not have played it. When I did play it, the graphics were god awful. It looks like a gmod map with some ~wacky~ stuff thrown into the map. All the npcs feel very awkward as they just stand around in one spot where they don’t feel any type of interesting or weird. They could literally be signposts and nothing would change. All the dialogue, but specifically the main character’s is pretty stilted and cringe. I also ran into absolutely no cats in my twenty minutes of playtime in a game based around cleaning and cats. I ran into a cursing misogynistic stag before a cat. I found a cat in a detective game in less time with no marketing on cats. Could not recommend less
