Puppy Chef Academy

I really want to like this game. It ticks a lot of my boxes. I like cutesy games. I love cooking games. My wife loves cooking games. The whole only cat in a dog school thing is a nice theme. Unfortuantely, I'm having a hard time thinking of anything nice to write about it. Which is a real shame because it almost works on a lot of levels. The stove almost behaves how you'd expect a stove to behave. Controls are almost intuitive. They almost have a decent solution to locomotion being clumsy. The character models are almost inoffensive. They almost use the headset microphone for something interesting. The list of things they almost did correct goes on and on and on. The game has a lot of potential but it never realizes it. I rather hope the developers continue refining their skills and try again. On the other hand, it has the most aggravating tutorial/intro/legal disclaimer I've seen in any game ever. Overall, I could see a patient child being entertained for the couple of hours of content there is but I think most adults will be turned off by the many but rough edges.

I had fun on this game it has promise and it is what i like, VR, cooking, and cute art, however it is really buggy when i try to make an omelet it disappears, i uninstalled and reinstalled. I even saw videos on it working for others but not on mine. I really wanted to play this so i even downloaded it from its ofifcial site and still no luck. Anyone know a fix I really want to play this.

Cute and simple

Don't buy this game. Horrible game. No options to move your characters position. Can't skip through the dialogues. Boring game. Controls don't read well either.

Puppy Chef Academy is a cute game that mixes VR cooking mechanics with a good bit of story between some of the characters. I've followed this game since the beta and have been continued to be blown away with all of the different mechanics for each of the varied recipes. Whether it's cracking eggs, chopping vegetables, or deep frying, each recipe brings something new to the table.

Let my little sister tried it out, now she won't stop trying to stab me with a virtual knife. 10/10 would get stabbed again
