Psycho Train

This is a routine mobile ported hidden object casual puzzle/adventure game with a crazy haunted train theme. Solving various puzzles and hidden object minigames progresses the plot and unravels the mystery. As with most mobile ported HOGs, there's a simplistic interface, locked/unchangeable screen resolution, next to no customisability, and somewhat low resolution graphical assets. Worse, this game has no proper widescreen support, you must choose between pillarbox (unacceptable) or 4:3 stretched (unacceptable). All of this puts this game below minimum standards for a contemporary PC game. At $10, this is highly overpriced. The same money would get you an older AAA game with 3D graphics and widescreen support, so it's impossible to recommend this.

This game isn't bad but it's not really good either. The hidden object scenes were ok, just not very numerous. I went with a negative review because it doesn't have a map screen so you're always walking everywhere. Also there are no extra secret, in-game, hidden objects to find, which I always enjoy when included.

Easy game to solve in a couple of hours. Puzzles and ghost!

It's... Okay. Nothing too... Eh... Complicated? Too fun? Overly emotional? Yeah. It's just there... You find items and place them. There are two H.O. scenes per area (same scene x2). Story is........... Crazy? Weird? Doesn't make much sense? I don't really hate it... I mean... It gave me something to do... But otherwise... Eh. ~~~impassive state~~~

A really cool HIO. It has no voiceovers but the story and the whole gameplay were really cool. The minigames are nice and not too hard and not too hard. The overall setting and the graphics are really nice as well. It doesnt have the best graphics but thats not a problem. I can really recommend it

Ein gelungenes Wimmelbild-Spiel für Zwischendurch mit guter Story.

Seemed fairly mediocre, even as 10+ year old point-and-click - puzzle games go. But, its good enough to buy when on sale and not feel like I got ripped off. I wish there was a "meh" rating available, but there isn't. Ultimately I feel this game was a 3/5. There's a few translation to English changes I would have made, but nothing that stood in the way of the game. As usual, the story seemed overly simplistic. But its passable enough. My only significant complaint is that throughout the game you find yourself picking up items, but you have no idea why. Ultimately its below average for this developer. But good enough for a few hours enjoyment.

Schlecht und langweilig ist es nicht, es gibt schlechtere und auch bessere, ein mittelmäßiges Spiel ist es dann doch. Die Handlung ist ja doch recht einfach gestrickt. Die Bemerkung nur etwas für Anfänger lehne ich ab, auch Fortgeschrittene mögen es mal mittelmäßig und gemütlich ohne das, dass Gehirn ans schwitzen kommt. Die Grafik erscheint etwas angestaubt, ein klein wenig macht es den Eindruck eines Schubladen-Fundes, ist aber meiner Meinung nach nicht tragisch wenn es einen guten Eindruck macht und der ist allemal vorhanden. Die Logik eines Spiels sollte nicht überbewertet werden, ich habe mir persönlich bei Spielen das logische denken abgewöhnt, außer wenn es der Spielfluss erfordert. Auch dieses Spiel hat seinen Charm. Versucht es selber das kleine Fünkchen Charm zu finden, wer natürlich sehr anspruchsvoll ist der findet das Fünkchen nie. Also probiert es aus, meine Empfehlung ist diesmal eingeschränkt

Has a mid-2000s 3D design and feel to it. Puzzles are a little on the harder side than normal and the HO scenes are decent and generally easy to navigate. The are various ghost and side characters you meet along the way which is fun even if the dialogue is slow, not skippable, and not voice-acted. Objects found are generally used within the section of the game map you are in which is nice and keeps you focused. Overall, this was an enjoyable and crazy HOG adventure.
