Yea, not much fun on a Rift. Everything you do takes tremendous effort and you seem to be racing against a clock in some situations. Just feels like playing an unfinished demo. Really wanted to just mindlessly smash things in VR but apparently that is not possible in this game (on a Rift anyway).
It's fun and it's free. Grab this while the license lasts! Anyone familiar with the film or the original arcade/console classic knows what to expect here. You're a big smashy monster running around causing utter mayhem and tossing military hardware around like ping pong balls. This stays true to the source material (both the film and the games) while keeping a fast, fun pace with enough variety and upgrades to keep it interesting. It only takes about 2hrs to 100% the game but I'm leaving it installed as it's fun for friends/guests. Here's some more detail about what you get here: - There are four varieties of level: smash; hunt; race; and survive. - When you complete a level, you either get a gene to beef up your monster or additional gene slots for all monsters. Genes come in four flavours to enhance one of the following: smashiness; tankiness; sprintiness; or climbiness. - Some genes unlock abilities that let you shoot spikes from your arms, blast everything around you with electricity, do a massive tailclub whip, fly, or do a big frog leap. - You can walk, run, punch thing, walk/run while punching things (my personal favourite), pick everything up, throw everything, smash everything. etc. - It's Rampage... in VR.... so as to be expected virtually everything is destructible. Need something to throw at a helicopter? Punch a hole in the building next to you and throw a wall at it. Or use a bus. Or smash two tanks together. Or throw a jeep into the air and play target practice with it. Downsides are that the controls took a few minutes to get used to and that George likes to fall through the ground when using spike shot. The mayhem could feel more impactful but that's a challenge in VR in general. Stronger audio would add some oompf to your hits. On a similar note, whenever you pick something up it becomes translucent in your hand which also detracts from the sense of chaos and is a lil immersion killing. All in all, pretty solid, if simple, title for $0 and it had me smiling while I played it.
Fajna zabawa, chociaż sterowanie trochę upierdliwe.

become big monke
游戏互动射击的还行,但是还是多少有些脱离实际的。比如,巨兽爬楼的场景就让很多光学感受器的玩节苦恼了,因为,大多数天花板是白的,一抬头,就没有信号了

I think this is an extremely fun game, i must admit it gets hard sometimes but overall it's a great game! I would definitely recommend this game!
I was stopped dead in my tracks after the tutorial which I guess is better than how some fared. I can't inspect the DNA of all things and I tried every combination of buttons to grab and inspect it. No luck, what a waste of time. The motion controls are awful and the arm positioning doesn't make a monkey's buttlick of sense.
