PROJECT: PLAYTIME is a Free-to-Play multiplayer horror game where six players attempt to create one giant toy while surviving a terrifying monster that roams the toy factory. A seventh player controls the monster and is given only one goal: Find and kill everyone.

this game is actually INSANE! it also gave us some teasers for Poppy Playtime Chapter 5! like the Steam Punk Hand that was a teaser for the Pressure Hand in Chapter 5!
hi
Cool game, but it's a shame it's getting removed.. :(

Project: Playtime is one of the most underrated asymmetrical horror games available today. While it's often compared to games like Dead by Daylight, Identity V, or Texas Chain Saw Massacre, I think it stands out because it isn't trying to be a clone. Instead of endlessly repairing generators or escaping through the same objectives every match, survivors work together to build giant toys while avoiding a powerful Monster controlled by another player. It creates a completely different rhythm, where teamwork, positioning, and quick decision-making matter just as much as individual skill. The Monster gameplay is just as enjoyable. Every Monster has a unique set of abilities that encourages a different playstyle, whether it's ambushing survivors, controlling space, or creating constant pressure across the map. Learning each character and adapting to different teams keeps the game feeling fresh even after dozens of matches. The chase mechanics are exciting, the environments are detailed, and the sound design does an excellent job of building tension without relying on cheap jump scares. One thing I appreciate most is how well the game captures the unsettling atmosphere of the Poppy Playtime universe. The abandoned factory, oversized toys, eerie music, and strange machinery all come together to create an environment that feels mysterious and memorable. It has its own identity instead of borrowing heavily from other horror franchises, and that originality deserves recognition. The game's journey also reminds me of Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist. While the stories are completely different, both are about perseverance despite obstacles. The Alchemist teaches that worthwhile goals require patience, resilience, and faith in the journey itself. Project: Playtime has had its share of criticism and rough patches, yet watching the game evolve over time feels similar to the message of continuing forward even when the path isn't perfect. No multiplayer game is flawless, and Project: Playtime certainly has areas where it can continue improving. However, many of the negative reviews reflect versions of the game that no longer exist. If you're looking for a horror game with unique objectives, creative Monster designs, great atmosphere, and tense multiplayer moments, this is absolutely worth your time. Whether you're playing with friends or jumping into solo matches, there's a lot of fun to be found if you give it a fair chance. Overall, Project: Playtime succeeds by embracing its own identity rather than copying the competition. It offers memorable matches, rewarding teamwork, and an atmosphere unlike most other asymmetrical horror games. If you enjoy multiplayer horror, don't let outdated reviews stop you from trying it—you may end up pleasantly surprised, just like I was.
