i get that it's a pre-release but this feels like a mishmash of various assets, ai scripts, ai voices, the movement is mid at best, the settings don't actually apply so i could not change anything and was stuck at playing with 22 fps while blasting every sound in my eardrums. Plus in general it feels like a hastily put together project with already made stuff and packages from people that probably don't know what they're doing. that's the general feeling i got, if you actually do game dev on your own then i'm sorry but this doesn't even feel like a tech demo
I know it's early access but it feels like a clunky low quality dark souls where the only challenge is that the NPCs hit too hard and if they are in an attack animation, they will completely ignore your damage. Stab, roll back and repeat is all that this demo is so far. give it some time before trying

Uninstalled after 4 min of play. Note: The game is in very very early development, so i understand there is issues to be expected. Initial Review after the tutorial: The combat and movement could have, at the least, been set up better. They start the prologue with an anime style art, leading into realism randomly. - Combat: you are literally walking down a river to punch demons carrying a sword on your back.... So its just punch punch punch punch punch, because the dodge system is stupid. Then you can heavy attack, which is basically a random double-kick back flip 60ft into the air knocking your opponent up as well with you, but you can only jump 1 foot off the ground... IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!?! This definitely should have been polished at least SOMEWHATS before even releasing to EA.
While playing Project Origin, my GPU temperature spiked to around 80°C, especially during intense combat scenes. FPS stayed stable, but I could clearly hear the fans going at full blast.
I feel like this far too early to announce an MMO or provide any gameplay for it. We don't learn anything about the MMO aspects of this game other than some small slice of combat with a boss at the end. The combat is clunky and has animations I've seen from other games that sell themselves as single-player games. If all the players can do is slash, roll and do air combat, it's not something I'd want to spend hundreds of hours in. The open world we are shown is completely empty and is more like going to your local wildlife park to have a gander. Other than that, the opening animation was nice; it kept my interest at least.
its pretty bad i get its pre rellease but it really needs a ton of work we willl have to see what happens
for now this feels more like a tech demo than an early access. with that being said, it runs and plays so..... imo the combat and animations feel a bit clunky will update this after a couple meaningful updates
I have played the alpha and so far it looks promising. I like the Roman and Greek setup. I do not expect a fully implemented game in the current state. During my testing I did not encountered any fatal bugs, errors or crashes. It runs surprisingly smooth and stable. I also checked the skill menu and "cheated" by mistake while pressing each key one after another. The number key "2" adds +100 experience points on each press, so I could unlock all skills and test the ultimate attack. I noticed that dodging and sprinting consumes stamina but jumping not. The camera zoom can not be adjust via the mouse wheel. Riding the horse works but "1" for alternative camera position is strange. Also moving the mouse to the left or right while on the horse makes the horse glide strangely forward. But those are issues that should be improved in future releases. I am looking forward to see flora, fauna, seas, rivers, villages and cities full of life. The current peace of the lore is nice but I would love to see a more complex story. And what I also want to see in mmorpgs, is player-player interactions. Looking forward for further updates. August 17. I went on an exploration trip today. I like exploring the open world. There are lot of things you can discover. There are lakes (but not a river), a mountain looking like a volcano and a nice fishermen village. Some missing / incorrect things (because of the Alpha): You can walk over the water and easily cross the lake. Grass is also growing inside the lake. Endless jumping without stamina loss. No fall damage. I am looking forward to the next updates.
