About
An idle, minimalist sci-fi game with a deep, unfolding mystery. You awaken as the Chroma Engine, a machine built for a single purpose: to create. In a silent, starless void, you must generate fundamental colors, mix them into complex new forms, and reignite the memory of a lost cosmos.
The universe is empty. Your function is to fill it. By allocating your power and building a vibrant resource engine, you can push back against the perfect nothingness. Each restored star is a new light in the dark and a fragment of a forgotten story, bringing you closer to understanding what was lost.
Create & Combine: Generate primary colors and unlock complex mixers to build an intricate production chain.
Reignite the Stars: Use your creations to generate Light and restore a vast, explorable Star Chart, unlocking powerful, permanent bonuses with each constellation.
Automate Everything: Evolve your engine with sophisticated automation to manage production and upgrades, allowing you to focus on cosmic restoration.
Discover the Past: Uncover the secrets of the void through fragmented lore entries tied to your progress.
Thank you for joining the Project Chromata! The game currently includes the entire first major story arc (Stage 1 & 2), offering a complete and satisfying gameplay experience from start to finish. We are hard at work developing the next massive content update, Stage 3, which will expand the story and introduce entirely new systems. We welcome you to our community and look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to build upon the universe!

When i opened this game up for the second time it no longer is working. I am getting 0 FPS and the only way for the screen to update is to put the game in fullscreen or take it out of fullscreen. I have no idea what is going on and noone else seems to have this problem
Moin seit den letzten Updates komm ich gefühlt gar nicht mehr weiter und bock mach das spiel auch nicht mehr.
I love the lore and aesthetic this games provides, rebuilding the universe with colors representing primary forces. That being said the gameplay here is lacking. Sitting and waiting for numbers to go up, auto buy and AI assigments just let the game play for you; and even without using them you just sit and watch a color tank fill up to buy upgrades. The concepts here are interesting but the fun part, the story, is divided by days of slow progress. I love the design and ideas here, its just not fun to play.
I saw the reviews and was hesitant - but then someone's said the old reviews were outdated due to an update. I have had no issues progressing through Stage 4 on Challenge mode. This is a pretty interesting idle game. Stage 4 is active instead of idle. Each stage of this game is uniquely different game play.
Honestly, I had a lot of fun with the beginning of the game. As soon as I got to the section that had a timer countdown to permanently losing resource nodes, I turned it off for the the night, thinking I would pick it up in the morning... then I never opened the game again, because I dreaded the timer, and didn't want to play it. So... I guess I can't recommend a game I wouldn't want to play myself.
es... ¿bueno? no se
