A free™ pay to win game with infuriating loot boxes, barely functional netcode, and the slowest menu system since the invention of mainframes. Coop with a friend or two is certainly somewhat jolly as far as the cooperative gameplay goes — but Konami still made sure to underdesign it, arbitrarily removing experience gain and the tactic chemistry feature from that mode. As there only is a connection quality filter for the regular 1v1 ranked matches, half the time the friends and foes in a coop match are on three or four different continents, and the further you are from the game host the more input delay you get to struggle with. PES 2019 might be superior to some other PES games of the past decade as well as more entertaining than its competitor FIFA, but for the sake of your sanity and your wallet, it's still better to stay away.
I went into this with very big doubts. I stopped playing PES since 2014 and that awful unfinished game. Since I saw so much negative reviews on here I thought I'm gonna play and then give up after a few matches. But.... What are you guys talking about? Servers are bad? No they're not, your connection is bad. Cheaters? I played at least 30-40 games, haven't met a single cheater. Poor gameplay? Compared to Fifa this is a masterpiece. Pay to win game? I got 96 Neymar, 88 Koscielny, 89 Brandt, 87 De Ligt, 85 De Jong etc. in just a matter of days! (all just by playing the game) People nowadays got so spoiled that they don't appreciate anything. They will always moan and cry. I'm not saying the game is perfect, but it's nowhere near to what reviews are saying. If you're a passionate football fan and don't want a broken gameplay like Fifa, this game is for you. Oh yea, and it's free ffs!

I think Konami uses your PC for datamining when you are running this game. I was only in menus and my brand new computer with a really good cpu and a good gpu were at 80% usage. 16 threads running at 80% usage WTF! I shut down the game and cpu and gpu usage dropped close to zero. Haven't seen this happening with any other game. In GTA V my cpu usage is about 20-30%. Check your cpu and gpu usage with windows task manager if you don't believe me. There is absolutely no reason for the cpu and gpu usage being so high especially since I wasn't even in game, just in menus. Edit: Everyone should just boycott Konami like most of the real football teams do. There is only like maybe 10 real teams in this game even in the paid version and it doesn't even have UEFA Champions League anymore LMAO. If you want to play a football game, just get FIFA 19 instead, even tho that's not good either but at least there are other players playing that game.
For being free, very few complaints. Mainly to do with the odd game being laggy, this does not happen all the time. The only other complaint off the top of my head is the fact that during coop you come across one person rather than the two or three which is logical for coop.
Game no longer has conncetion problems, for being free it's good, BUT gameplay is literally soooooo ♥♥♥♥, I cant remeber the last time PES of FIFA had this ♥♥♥♥ gameplay, I never believed in scripting, BUT FFS this game is scripted every single game and I mean EVERY
Best PES in a while, great graphics, playability and its free. Don't hear other people, the game is great, the problem is that you have to practice in order to improve ...
¡Totalmente recomendado!
This game could be good but so far I've encountered so many bugs and the mechanics are just bad, referee, goalkeepers, player switching are broken and through passes just won't work, players won't react to them properly. It's a free game and that's a good thing but those mechanics do need a lot of work, so far I consider it unplayable.
I've played a lot of PES on PS3. The local multiplayer was good fun and the 'manager mode' was good for single play. This PES version let's you create your own team and it gives you a stripped down version of of managing your team; which is quite good for a free game, and would be much better if the (few) mobile game elements were missing. I really like hiring and building my own players and tactics, and the scout and manager system takes much of the fun out, for me. However, the game's is still good. And the PES match engine is brilliant. It makes it nice to even just sit a watch a match just to see how your team and individual players perform against others. The AI can be very convincing.
