Prison Wars is a well known classic that will let you experience the harsh life inside a maximum security prison. Earn some quick cash, smuggle items and get as much respect as you can from fellow inmates. Make sure you join a gang, take control of the prison and watch your back!
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
"Prison Wars" is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. If you think this looks like a cool "Prison Architect" but from the view behind the bars kind of strategy game, you'll be sadly disappointed. While the game claims to offer that kind of experience, it's just a thin veneer and you'll quickly find the cash shop in your face demanding money. There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino. That's basically what this is. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.

I play for a few min at a time while i am eating or something then thats about it.
Its not bad. Slow. Store doesnt work, but, nice to kill a little time on. Patience is a must. Long term game
