Some people like to kill low level players, so watch the loot you carry and don't loose your eggs. i'd still give this game a recommendation for people that like Runescape this game should be called RuneSkate. I came from Waydots video and i'm glad I did. solid amount of fun for a free game.
Found out about this game from the Waydot video. Ive been wanting a new runescape-like game forever, and with brighter shores being disappointing, I became interested in Pow Vista. So far its a fun cute little game with a good community and a dev team that cares. As for all the negative reviews about the game having full loot PvP, this is now optional and based on the server you login to. The game play is very much Runescape. You level skills by performing activities around the world, and they synergise fairly well together. The main difference is how combat is handled. You skate around on your skateboard and run into enemies to damage them. However, if an enemy is near an edge, you can bump them off and get an insta kill. Its nice because you can repeatedly bump into enemies, if youre going for XP grinding, or plan your position relative to the enemy and bump them off to get quick kills for farming items. You can also find eggs that hatch into companions that can skill, fight, and loot for you. If you like a chill game where you can push buttons and farm items and XP you will like this. It is a bit buggy, but their discord is active and they are responsive to issues. Definitely gonna be some growing pains with this one as any small team MMO is going to have, but as long as its managed well and improvements come over time, I can see this becoming a bit of a gem.

I love Tony Hawk's RuneScapemon
Skateboard Runescape... I never thought I'd see the day, but here we are. And It's so damn good lol
This game is a genuine joy to play. Even though I haven't played this game as much as others have, I have enjoyed myself so much that I lost track of time many days in a row. There's a premium currency that players can earn by reporting bugs in the Discord server and hatching things called pals, which act akin to pets from RuneScape. There's a thriving community of veteran players that assist new players with new tools, higher tier healing foods, rare boards, and so much more. As someone who has been in the community for a short amount of time compared to others, I've seen the game go from a once desolate land to a genuine community of players banded together by the number go up mindset. I cannot emphasize enough how much this game means to me and to many other players. Give it a shot!
I like it. It's fun and very friendly to new players. Easy to figure out the skills and how to train them. Also the community on the game is very willing to answer questions. Gives an old school RuneScape vibe with skateboards and also some things from pokemon with the eggs hatching and a chance at a shiny. Can also play on pc/mobile. Can use same account for both as well which is cool.
mind numbing would lobotomize my self again
What if Runescape and Pokemon had an unholy baby? You'd get this game. I absolutely love the Runescape-esque gameplay and the combat that has Pokemon-esque typings. You also have a ton of collectibles to collect. Your weapons are skateboards and there is a rare chance to get a shiny. Those shiny versions get stronger the more you have leveled the crafting type that belongs to it. For example a shiny Fire skateboard gets stronger with leveling your Firemaking skill. It gives a real sense of purpose to the crafting skills. The Discord is very active and the dev is very open in his communications. Some reviews are mentioning that you can be killed by other players. A recent update removed pvp unless you play on a specific pvp server. So this isn't an issue anymore.
