About
Potion Knight is a first person 'shooter' with intense and up-tempo elements. This game combines the need for speed with tactical potion throwing in this endless satisfying yet chaotic fast runner and faster slider experience. Set in the coldest days of medieval times in a harsh snow ridden village of Cronenberg. A place where every creature is out to steal that last bit of warmth out of your body. Your goal is to defeat all enemies and kill the corrupt alchemist to free Cronenberg from its grasp.
Step into the cold, wintery world of PSX inspired graphics filled with strange and unsettling enemies straight from the ‘illuminated manuscripts of old’ and try your hand at conquering this strange menagerie. Luckily you can kill these gut-wrenching creatures with your trusty weapon, the ancient art of alchemy! Throw potions at the right enemy or get faced with the consequences if you throw the wrong elixir.
Made for everyone who wants to play challenging levels that are procedurally generated to make every run different from the last.

Snow is wayyyy too blinding alot of the time and the game doesn't really feel responsive with no sound indication on hits

Great game! It has a lot of potential for the future.
no hit or sound indicators no clear explanation on what each color potion does.
fun
I can appreciate that this is a FREE game. But I have gripes I'd like to air out then i'll talk positives. 1. I know it's my fault, but I feel a lot of people would just hate to do tutorials if they are optional. But the thing about games REGARDLESS of whether tutorials are optional or not, you should STILL be able to understand the mechanics of the game regardless of doing them or not. Granted you obviously will miss things, but i feel something as simple as NEEDING TO SLIDE IN ORDER TO BREAK THE STAGE BOUNDARY/PLANKS is something that should at LEAST be highlighted in the beginning area 2. The game is dark af. Not to mention the snow is blinding. It's cool to have a night/snowy theme, but if i'm unable to see where i am going, it becomes an issue. For example, ULTRAKILL has VERY dark rooms. But I'll ALWAYS know where I CAN go. 3. The lack of sound effects lowkey kills the game for me. The potions don't make sounds when the land, I know that's just a nitpick. But it makes the game THAT much better. Aside that it just feels like the BGM is too stagnant and should probably change depending on whether enemies are around or not imo. Positives: I like the setting of the game, and I appreciate that they have colored rings to let me know what potions work on what monsters. That's genuinely a good game design choice imo. I feel that the upgrade scrolls could have better options though, kinda felt like it was grasping at straws on what to upgrade when i saw that SLIDE SPEED and MOVEMENT speed were two different upgrades. I feel like i'm in the minority of whether they enjoyed the game or not, which is fine. Not everyone is gonna like everything. BUT in my gaming opinion. I think the game just needs minor updates for me to go from "I don't like it" to "I wouldn't mind playing it"? This is the only game in their catalogue, so I ASSUME this is their first game ever, and by no means is that a bad thing. In that scenario this is a really REALLY good game to have as a first time game. If this was their first game, I'm excited to see what they'll make as they improve
what is this game bro, in my mind i thought you will play as a knight who fight bosses and troops with potion-buffs and really good gameplay, but i got this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ instead.
Fun game! Leaderboard would be fun!
It's an interesting game. I just found it rather empty, lacking interaction with things, and the final boss isn't difficult, which I believe is the chosen one. The game has potential, though.
