The first few tasks where ok. However, the further along I got, the harder it was on PC. I think console would be better for this game. Its cute, and fun other than hard on PC

Had a bit of a disappointing experience with a Steam game I was really looking forward to playing after putting it in my library, Postmouse - played it for about an hour (and it's not a very long game and I think I was nearing the end) but I reached a point where I got stuck and to my knowledge it looks like there's no way I could get back to where I was (and they made it look like you could jump down and get back up 😒 ) and there were a few parts earlier that were pretty confusing and jittery so I had to drop the game :( I do appreciate it's a student made game so it's not got a high budget but I still found it disappointing :( It's a shame too because in the presentation and some of the art there is some genuine charm to it, but the game is unfortunately pretty buggy in spots :( But these are the bits where I got frustrated with the game - the height you can fall from without dying seems very inconsistent from one area to the next - there was a part in the clock tower where I jumped from a little ledge onto a mushroom which was only about a short drop and the impact still killed me while in other areas you can survive much bigger falls 😅 The part where I gave up was where you need to step on a button to move gears so the clocktower hands will move to make a bridge - I thought I had made the bridge but I hadn't moved it properly yet so I went to move back to get back up, only to find I couldn't reach the ledge and the checkpoint set me back ON THE CLOCK HAND so I'm just stuck forever I guess D8 I tried quitting out of the game and going back in too - it loaded me ON THE CLOCK HAND again! 😬 True it was only an hour I was playing it for, but I gave up at that point 😵At least it was a game that was free, but it's still pretty disappointing :(

Postmouse was such a mesmerizing short experience. I must say, I cannot disagree with the reviews that complain about the controls being frustrating - the controls do be a bit frustrating indeed, and it pains me every time to watch poor little Postmouse as he falls to his tragic demise because I misstepped. Another thing that made me frown a bit is how abrupt the ending felt, as if there wasn't enough time or budget to give the story a nice closing cutscene, only one that left me with some unanswered questions. Most importantly, I found this game so very beautiful. Hopping between all the flowers and the mushrooms, the little houses made out of fallen logs, this game is pure visual poetry. I must have taken 50 screenshots, unironically. It is stunning, I loved every corner of it. Therefore, in summary, I do recommend you give Postmouse a try :)
A bit confusing at the start but I got the hang of it
Loved it, hopefully more will be added or additional stories for this little mousey.
beautiful game, definitely doesn't hold your hand, I would recommend playing it in one session because there is no quest log or anything to remind you what you are supposed to be doing
It's short but pleasant. It has a really nice environment.
