Portal 2

Portal 2 is one of those once-in-a-generation sequels that is merely par for the course when it comes to Valve. While it doesn't beg for a third game in the same way its sister franchise Half-Life does, I think it would be a welcome addition to the 2020s as well as a wonderful opportunity to revisit Aperture Science in an official capacity once again. While the isolation of the facility is intentional, Cave Johnson, GLadOS and Wheatley make up a very colorful cast for the only voices you hear in the game! The Co-op mode is something I've enjoyed with many different friends and family members, and is a clear format setter for the much more recent co-op exclusive games of this decade, integrating puzzles that require communication and timing with a partner. I hope Cave Johnson's lab boys are tinkering on a future Portal concept, or they'll be missing out on a nice crisp $60 right in their pockets, with a minimal amount of science stuff put in them!
