Police Chief Simulator: Prologue - Early Days

way too much micro managing, form comparing isn't fun, cleaning and picking up trash is meh, driving somewhere to get a fax machine, forms, etc is just not at all what I expected from the trailer. This isn't fun at all.

I feel the devs made a big mistake with what they have chosen to show in this Demo. Maybe the full game becomes a lot more fun the further you get but all we get here is: A tiny bit of cleaning sim & a Tedious 'Papers Please' style document verification! The case investigation part doesn't even deserve a mention as its just overly simplistic busy work. Maybe if I see it on a massive discount when I'm bored I might consider it but right now its a No from me.

Yeah the state of this game so far is very underwhelming.. people piling up at the station, even when you are closed, is ridiculous. They will stop their car in the middle of the road and block the delivery truck. You give us a bed in the station that just vanishes the first time you use it, then you have to go to some rundown motel, which you will probably have to build up in the main game (I'm here for police play, not a hotel manager) The "tutorials" are not helpful at all, and you better read them thoroughly when you seem them, cuz once you hit 'close' good luck. The info checks at the registration desk (That is spelt horribly wrong in-game) will mark something that is valid-invalid, and visa versa. Like I understand this is a demo.. but this wasn't even ready for that. And yeah I don't have much time in the game. It's fricking obnoxious, probably the only simulator game I've gotten completely bored with after 10 mins of playing. I do hope it gets better though. It's a cool concept. But so far it's just been Contraband police without the contraband. Not at all what I was expecting. We have enough of those games.

what i just played was pretty good so far. I made coffee and stayed up for days , once i started drinking coffee i made zero mistakes with the reports filed. The game allowed me to actually put 2 and 2 together without holding my hand and I was able to figure out that combined with drinking coffee i could use the magnifying glass only on obvious errors that could not be corrected with the pen like photo ID and the date of the report and if those were correct id only use the pen to check off all other items and what needed to be corrected would be and never get tired. Long story short the games mechanics are self explanatory enough that you can find a good flow for mitigating mistakes while increasing productivity. I am really looking forward to the demo and release actually!

As someone working in law enforcement, I appreciated the management-focused approach that Police Chief Simulator: Prologue - Early Days brings to the genre. The game does a good job of introducing the challenges of balancing personnel, resources, and incident response while maintaining public safety and operational effectiveness. While the prologue is limited in content and some systems could use additional depth and refinement, the overall concept shows promise. With continued development and expanded features, this could become a strong simulation title for players interested in the leadership and decision-making side of policing. Rating: 8/10 – A solid foundation with plenty of potential for future growth.
