Cool TCG but needs some work. Honest review from someone who has played the game regularly for over a year and considering not playing anymore. Very surprised this game could win game of the year. Pretty cool and fun card game, however there are several issues keeping this from 5 stars. Biggest issue is game performance. The game eats a lot of power for no reason even if you are playing solo. There are annoying and laggy load screens after every button click. The game should generally not be lagging even on my iPhone 14pro but lag free animations are few and far between. Update files and game size are way too big for how much processing is done after every click. Next is user experience. Way too many steps to add new cards to the codex for example. In general there should have been more thought about the number of clicks that a user has to make for each task in the game. Next to impossible to complete the packs without trading or sharing.

The only Japanese thing i hate This app is bad at every single thing the user might want from it. Makes devs lots of money though. I wouldn’t be surprised if this app wasn’t even Japanese because if it is it’s the stain of Japan

Rng based No skill honestly required. The game is fully based off of rng and if you start off with bad hands thab there’s a great chance lf you just flat out losing the game.

This games algorithm for battles is never in your favor!!!!!!!! I have had this game now for about a couple of years and I only use it to look at the illustration for the cards. The battles are one sided and you never get the cards you need from your deck to beat the advanced or expert stages. It will make you very upset and want to throw your phone through the wall!!!! Nothing is fair when it comes to battling these cards and you will lose more than you win most definitely. This game will upset you over and over again. Do not download if you want to battle. Honestly delete this p.o.s. Game and go but real cards. This game for battles is completely rigged and unfair!!!

Getting new cards/trading It’s fun to open packs and battle and whatnot but what isn’t fun is losing to people 5-6x my level every match. I just started and I’m a low level. I have little to no good cards to build a good deck. In casual (I understand fighting high levels in ranked, that’s fine.), I’m just getting destroyed by people 5x my level. They have amazing decks because they have played long. It’s just I can’t trade cards until two weeks after I play. Maybe switch it to once you get level 10 or 15? Because it’s so hard to get cards I need. But overall the game is genuinely fun to play. I just wish I could trade and get cards I want.

I like it but I feel like its annoying we have to wait hours to basically open only one pack or two of lucky like if you bought the or vip subscription but if not it takes a long time and there’s not really any good luck unless your new to playing the game but after that getting real good cards isn’t easy much also on the new pack it’s luck for getting good card is not the worst compared to packs like palika or sometimes diagla sometimes or some other packs but it’s luck on getting good cards it’s bad still also i dont mean to sound ungrateful but i didn’t know there was a pokemon first anniversary and that you had to long in for 5 days i think to get a rainbow evee card evee is one of my favs i was never reminded on event so Ike these i hope to get one one day

Slow actions in game Opening a pack takes too long and there’s too many clicks for each action. Opening the daily gift takes too long and too many clicks. The pack opening drags on for too long and I don’t care for the random card choice because it takes too long

Rigged beyond belief Play expert solo mode, especially on random battle, literal rage bait for no reason whatsoever. You will brick 90% of the time just so DeNa’s precious revenge system Ai can copycat you. DeNa is pure scum.

Idea for game I love Pokemon and have for 13 years since I was 5. This game would be even better if it had a setting to pick multiple different packs 3, 5, or a 10 rip. But it’s all different seasons of packs. Just food for though it would make opening different packs at once way easier
