Pokémon GO

Very fun :) When I joined this game 3 years ago, I was inspired and pulled into catching Pokemon, battling raids, and awesome events! One of my favorite events were Go Fest 2026, it was very fun and I got lots of shiny Pokemon! This game deserves some love.

This game has become a complete sham I have been playing for about 8 years at this point, and scammy business tactics I just experienced today, make me want to quit forever. For context I’m writing this review July 12, 2026, which is the last day of the GO Pass Deluxe: ROAD OF LEGENDS. This pass offered some seemingly incredible items: a Gold Bottlecap, which raises any Pokemon’s stats to perfect, or so they made it seem. The other item is a Lucky Friend Charm which will make you lucky friends with anyone you choose. I reached rank 100 after catching and hatching more Pokemon than I’d care to admit, and decided I would actually drop the $20 dollars to upgrade to the deluxe version of the pass. It was when I went to look at these supposedly $20 value items that I was completely shocked. The Gold Bottlecap and the Lucky Friend Charm only LAST ONE WEEK before they expire and you never get to use them. On top of that the bottlecap does not raise any Pokemon’s stats to perfect (as I was lead to believe). It doesn’t work on Shadow mons, and it only unlocks the ability to hYpeRTraIN, which actual means you have to complete the most insane tasks ever to upgrade your Pokemon. For example to level up from 14 points in Defense to 15, you have to catch 1500 Pokemon with that pokemon as you buddy!!! For reference I’ve only caught 18,000 Pokemon total in my account’s entire history!! AND ON TOP OF THAT, the hYpErTrAInIng only lasts 1 year then expires. This is the scummiest in-game purchase I’ve ever seen in a game. Why make these items so expensive and hard to earn if you are going to take them away in a week or a year later. Why is the hypertraining so impossible?! Is making one of my pokemon perfect really that gamebreakingly good. The answer is no. I think I’m done forever after this.

Battling The game is really awesome. Catching. Pokémon is really fun, but I wish they made the battling a little bit more skillful, and not just tapping and charge attacks.

Scopely is not accredited by the BBB Tells you exactly what kind of people run the place. Wanted to do a raid then they tried to make me buy a “link pass” that has never existed before but costs $1. Doesn’t sound bad but most of the raid catches are terrible and you have do them several times. This game is purely Pay to Play and their “customer service” is a just a bit. Simply disgusting company.

Poke go Really fun and almost the best but sometimes it takes a long time to grind for pokeballs

Clothing removal Y’all took away the clothing items I already PAID ACTUAL MONEY for and are trying to make me pay for them AGAIN????? I hope you get sued.

Scam Razzberries don’t work, curve balls don’t work. They treat people differently depending on if they “like” you. The game crashes often then it’s hard to sign in. This is a total scam and money grab. Can’t wait for the lawsuits

Great game but could change a few things Game is amazing! I love it! I’ve played it since I was 5! There’s just a few things. First I’m not fully sure how to get rotom so can you make it a bit easier to get him! Second can you add something like a field task or something to get Kangaskhan and maybe for moltres or articuno or zapdos or all of them! Even if you don’t I’ll understand and know that I’ll still love the game! Bye!

Needs More Remote Passes This game is great for people new to an area or with large families. I’ve used it for years to get out into my community, make friends, and enjoy nice weather. The only issue I’ve run into recently are with the shop and passes. I can rarely find any remote raid passes, and they’re never in any good boxes in the shop. I’ve already spent money on this game, and it’s honestly becoming a hindrance to my enjoyment of the app. I think events should feature more opportunities to get remote passes, as it boosts the amount of players able to be online and working together. Other than that, the app is great! I highly recommend it to all my friends

Adventure Sync wont turn off Adventure sync automatically turns on every time i turn it off. Ive tried turning changing location settings and switching the sync to off but nothing changes. The pop ups are ridiculous every time i open the game. Ended up uninstalling
