Always broken and pay pay pay This game is PAY TO PLAY. If you do not pay, your “luck” will be far less than others, you will not have even close to the same experience, and many of the events will not be enjoyable. There is now a paid Deluxe pass for every little event, and those events need you to pay for items. Pay pay pay. Additionally, there’s always issues that result in you wasting all your paid items. They may do a “makeup” event, but that only asks you to spend all over again to get the experience you should already have had. The support team lies and gaslights and makes it nearly impossible to address any legitimate issues you may be facing. So crack open that wallet and do your best to get “lucky”!

Glitch During Mega Finale Event Sep 5, 2026 I love Pokemongo and have been playing since the beginning in 2016. The poor rating is due to a glitch that lasted about 40 min during a Mega Finale event on Sep 5, 2026. We were a party of two in a park of at least 50 to 100 who all experienced frozen screens during Mewtwo raids, and after leaving and coming back several times, the raid ended twice and no Mewtwo was obtained since no one could fight during the raid. After going home we tried to write to support via help chat and received a bot answer saying the matter was investigated and we would not be compensated our two lost passes. Furthermore it was a winless situation because the journal window had passed, but even if we could have taken a screenshot it would not have proven that the game glitched out. As a longtime player I am offended with the bot response downplaying the issue witnessed by everyone in that park and frustrated at no acknowledgement of the issue or even a true ability to submit an inquiry to support. Please do better for your clients, Scopely Explore Support, we are so disappointed in our first and now last community Mega Event.

Great concept ruined by greed I love the basis of this app but it is ruined by corporate greed and people who don’t care about the product. They promote all these events under false pretenses just to collect another dollar

Worst privacy in the world I’m not even gonna sign in because I will never share my location or share things about me. They should change that we should just be able to make a username and password. And join the game why did it have to be so complicated? I hate this they should redo the Pokémon go privacy would not recommend.

Garbage customer service Don’t purchase anything if you have login issues and miss claiming items you paid for you lose them.

Absolutely godawful amount of pop ups on an iPhone? Downloading this game after years and now I can’t play it without first having it open my setting app because it won’t dismiss the thing telling me to turn my location services on all the times, which if I leave on makes my phone overheat randomly throughout the day. How this app has turned my phone into a heater idk but it’s only this and it’s always happened. Bad app design bad usage of memory something is wrong and it’s incredibly frustrating

No response and never helps I’ve played this game for a very long time and i rarely run into problems but this time i ran into a trading problem me and my buddy traded pokemon thinking we can trade them back it did not warn us that they where special and that they could not be traded back I wrote to the support waited the 24 hours and there was no response and to make it worse I’ve gone to the website face book and the support team there sucks just as much

Trash They don’t care about the game whatsoever. Horrible optimization. Would not recommend to anyone. Download if you wanna have a horrible time.

Niantic The go battle league sucks now the pacing is awful it’s absolutely trash my dog could have made it better
