Veteran Player - thoughts I have played this game since the second day of its existence. I have gone through all of the ups and downs, all of the cool things that have been implemented, as well as all of the bad. I find that until scopely bought it we had both in equal measure. Now, it just feels like they’re tearing this game apart bit by bit and figuring out ways to monetize every single aspect of what made this game fun. And that’s coming from the perspective of someone who has no problem spending money on a game when it feels fun or worth it! It’s just not feeling worth it anymore. I feel like I’m closer than I’ve ever been to quitting this game entirely and I hope that somewhere somehow, the developers see this review as well as the conversations happening in different corners of the internet about how bad things have gotten and figure out ways to return the real spirit of the game. If it wasn’t for the local community of people who play this and how cool it is to get out and play with them, I would absolutely with zero hesitation delete the app and stop playing.

Shameless Cash Grab Scopely might be the worst thing to happen to Pokemon Go. Day 1 player and I have never considered deleting the game more than I am now. From expensive passes not rewarding you with its main selling point to now dropping the rocket balloons from 4 a day to 1 a day, with no announcement mind you. Scopely has turned this game into an anti-player cash grab and I’m just about sick of it. Not worth playing anymore if you’re a rural or disabled player, and barely worth playing unless you live in an active major city or spoof

Downhill FAST Scamely (Scopely) is currently in pursuit of the idea “how much previously free content can we monetize?” And it is extinguishing my desire to play the game. The events are not even interesting or creative, they are purely break the glass release this and monetize it. Nothing is earned in the game anymore, everything is purchased, and it is a waste of money. The game was fun but now it’s corporate slop set up to make money.

Cash Grab. Scopely has slowly turned this game into a cash grab, making everything a Go Pass with items locked behind a paywall. Now they've removed 4 rocket balloons a day to only 1, why make it harder to catch Pokémon and find Giovanni???

Have a little suggestion This is my ABSOLUTE addiction and the best of best game that I know but, I think you should add world boss raids (ex:eternatus eternamax,arceus,etc) and you get 1 ticket a week and the raids last 1 month long,anyways it just a suggestion,your game is your game and it’s the best game. And as long as Jesus is with you you will succeed in life.
