engaging potrayal of Tarnow.
3/10 - Potencjał jest, Optymalizacji nie ma.
Pohinki Simulator is one of the most bizarre survival games I have played, and I honestly think the absurdity is what makes it work. I wake up in a forest and find myself living as a man trying to survive by searching through the streets of Tarnow for things other people have thrown away. I liked how the game turns something as ordinary as rubbish collecting into the foundation for an open world survival adventure. The survival loop is built around exploring, gathering useful materials and making sure I have enough to get through the next day. What I liked most is that the game does not force me to follow one particular lifestyle. I can search for scrap, explore the woods, steal things, build a base or simply wander around seeing what strange situations I can find. That freedom makes the experience feel much more like a sandbox than a traditional survival game. The building system is another area I enjoyed. Found objects can be used in strange and creative ways, and the physics based construction gives me plenty of room to experiment. Electricity also gives the building side a little more complexity, while randomized trash locations encourage me to keep exploring instead of memorizing a single route. The humor is easily the strongest part of the world. The idea of surviving in a Polish neighborhood while potentially ending up at a giant spider's barbecue party is so absurd that I could never quite predict what the game would do next. I liked that the comedy comes from the situations rather than turning every mechanic into a joke. It makes the world feel weird in a way that is actually memorable. There is also an adventure mode for when I want to ignore the survival pressure and simply experiment with the mechanics. I appreciated that option because sometimes I want to explore the systems without constantly worrying about food or staying alive. The different ways of approaching the game make it much easier for me to play at my own pace. My biggest issue is that the roughness of the sandbox can sometimes work against it. Physics based building can be unpredictable, and the huge amount of freedom means some activities feel less polished than others. The game can also feel directionless if I am not naturally interested in setting my own goals. That freedom is a strength, but it can also make the progression feel loose. Overall, Pohinki Simulator is a weird and surprisingly creative free sandbox that I had a lot of fun exploring. I liked the scavenging, physics based building, open world freedom and especially the ridiculous humor. It is rough around the edges and can feel unfocused, but there is so much personality here that I think it is worth checking out simply to see what kind of nonsense I can get myself into.
