Not pog.
POG 8 is a basic mobile app which is a physics puzzle game where you remove blocks to make the "star" block fall into the right spot. This is the eighth copy+paste of the exact same game from "Cute Hannah's Game", who seem to do nothing but copy + paste the exact same games onto Steam. Absolutely this is done as a kind of cash grab/scam, to get money for garbage. This looks and feels like an asset/template flip, where they just copy out a game template and change a few things and dump it on Steam. You can see this is a likely explanation, because this is a basic copy + paste of their first, near identical game, POG. It's also close to the exact same game that has been copied and pasted around a dozen times in the "Chocolate Makes You Happy" series of CTRL-V's by Blender Games (and they still haven't been kicked off Steam). For some reason, perhaps in a state of advanced confusion, the developer published this on Steam instead of the app stores where it belongs. Or maybe the app stores rejected it, which is why the developer dumped this into DailyIndieGame bundles with the rest of the mobile apps and asset flip garbage. Either way, mobile trash doesn't belong on Steam, even if it got rejected by iPhone gamers. And if this seems like a copy + paste of my review of POG, it is. If the developer thinks it's okay to copy+paste the same game onto Steam after changing a couple of things, they sure can't complain about reviewers doing it in response.

Juego de puzzle por físicas al estilo de la saga Zup! Ideal para jugar tranqui y terminarlo en el mismo día, aunque a veces las físicas no quieren que así sea!!
我是没想过 我居然为了25xp 要为这游戏写评测就是了owo

POG 8 is a minimalist physics-based puzzle game that continues Cute Hannah’s Games’ long-running commitment to small, focused experiences built around simple ideas executed with quiet confidence. As the eighth entry in the POG series, it does not attempt to surprise players with new mechanics or narrative twists. Instead, it refines a familiar concept, offering a collection of short logic challenges that emphasize balance, spatial reasoning, and patience over spectacle or complexity. At the heart of the game is a single, clearly defined objective: keep a star-marked block stable on a designated platform for a few seconds. Every level revolves around this goal, but the surrounding conditions change constantly. Slopes, blocks, gaps, and physical constraints are arranged in ways that force players to think about gravity, weight distribution, and momentum. What makes the puzzles engaging is how small adjustments—nudging a block slightly or choosing a different stacking order—can dramatically change the outcome. Success often comes from understanding the physical behavior of the pieces rather than discovering a hidden trick. The game’s structure favors short, self-contained levels that can be completed in minutes. This design makes POG 8 ideal for quick play sessions, where players can solve a handful of puzzles, step away, and return later without losing momentum. Difficulty increases gradually, not by adding new rules, but by combining existing elements in more demanding ways. Later stages require greater precision and foresight, as the margin for error becomes smaller and the star block’s stability harder to maintain. Visually, the game embraces a clean and understated presentation. The art style is intentionally minimal, with simple shapes, muted colors, and uncluttered backgrounds that keep the focus entirely on the puzzle elements. There are no distracting animations or decorative flourishes, and this restraint serves the gameplay well. Every object is clearly readable, and players can easily track how each piece interacts with the environment. The overall aesthetic contributes to a calm, almost meditative atmosphere that aligns with the game’s slow, thoughtful pacing. Audio design follows the same philosophy. Background music is soft and unobtrusive, designed to fade into the background rather than demand attention. Sound effects are subtle but functional, providing feedback without breaking concentration. This combination reinforces the game’s relaxed tone and makes it easy to settle into a problem-solving mindset, even during longer sessions. One of POG 8’s strengths is its consistency. The game knows exactly what it wants to deliver and never strays from that vision. For fans of the series, this reliability is part of the appeal, as each new entry offers a familiar framework with fresh arrangements to solve. For newcomers, however, this same consistency may feel limiting. The lack of mechanical evolution or surprise means that players who crave novelty or escalating systems might find the experience repetitive over time. Replay value comes primarily from personal satisfaction rather than branching content or alternative solutions. While some puzzles allow for creative approaches, most have a clear intended solution rooted in physics logic. Steam achievements provide light motivation for completionists, but the game does not attempt to extend its lifespan through meta-progression or unlockable mechanics. Instead, it treats completion as its own reward. Ultimately, POG 8 is a deliberately modest puzzle game that succeeds by staying within its comfort zone. It offers a calm, focused experience that values clarity, logic, and gentle challenge over ambition or innovation. While it may not appeal to players looking for deep systems or dramatic presentation, it provides a satisfying mental exercise for those who enjoy physics puzzles and minimalist design. As part of the POG series, it stands as another quiet, thoughtful entry that reinforces the idea that even the simplest concepts can remain engaging when handled with care and consistency.
