The game is beautiful and replayable, but keep a guide next to you, otherwise you'll miss some details for the multiple finals. Ost are great, and the gameplay is very simple, as you would expect from the indie genre. It's a good remastered of the original pocket mirror, I suggest you to play both so that you can appreciate both works and then make a judgement. The only thing you need to be wary of is the chasing scenes. When Lisette or other characters chase you, be careful and take the good route, it's easy to make multiple game overs for just this detail. Make multiple save points so that you can come back in case of game over, in this kind of games it's heavily recommended, much like in hello charlotte trilogy. Have fun.

I have already played the original and have 50+ hours, it was only natural for me to buy the remake aswell. I really enjoy the graphical overhaul but i do personally believe that the original was better as a horror game. Most of the gloomy suffocating atmosphere has been cut aswell as many cool details. It feels overall just sanitized and i would choose the original any day of the week but this game is still a masterpiece

i originally watched a lets play for the original version on youtube - when i heard they were remaking this game, holy cow sign me up :3 highly highly recommend if you like horror rpgmaker games and want a fairytale esque storyline! easily one of my top 5 games regarding story, character design, atmosphere, music, art, etc. they've added some great features to this remake, including the ost for the game, refreshed art (i do wish you could play the game in the og art style as i truly loved it, however this is a minor critique from me), the extras menu and a readily available way to easily go through certain sections of the game. they have also revamped/tweaked some of the areas/puzzles you experience! i feel like there is so so much more i could list in this review, however i hope people to go into this game with as little information as possible. that truly is the best way to experience this game and see what unfolds as you progress. ALSO I LOVE LISETTE, ALL TIME FAVE IN THE GAME IDC. only gripe with the game is some of the gameplay can be extremely repetitive OR if you're trying to get all endings, you kind of need to go in with a plan almost on your first run. this takes away the whole purpose of the game. sounds silly, but trying to replay the NG+ run has little benefits or rewards BESIDES the pumpkin achievements and Henri's room. otherwise there's not great replayability when it comes to trying to 100% the game or simply getting any of the 5 endings. personally not a huge deal to me, however i understand others not enjoying that aspect. i truly think this is a one of a kind indie game. i love astralshift's work as developers, and cannot wait for future projects! currently trying to finish LGTS as these two games are linked to each other :3 thank you, im very passionate about this game ^-^

[/b] Si ya jugaste ese o si tenés pensado hacerlo, este juego te va a dar el contexto necesario para entender un montón de cosas de ese universo. [b] Por qué deberías darle una oportunidad: [/b] Es un juego que no te lleva de la mano. Te obliga a prestar atención, a leer todo y a conectar puntos. Si sos de los que disfrutan cuando un juego te deja laburar la cabeza para entender la trama y apreciás una estética gótica bien cuidada, es por acá. Es corto, va directo al grano y te deja pensando un buen rato después de terminarlo. Es una de esas experiencias cortas que se disfrutan mejor si te tomás el tiempo de investigar cada rincón. Muy recomendado si te gustan las historias que te hacen girar la tuerca.

Les personnages sont attachants, chacun possédant sa propre personnalité et ses propres problématiques. L'horreur est vraiment bien réalisée. On est davantage dans l'horreur psychologique que dans les screamers, même s'il y en a quelques-uns de temps à autre. Les énigmes sont correctes, et certaines sont vraiment originales. The game doesn't particularly shine because of its gameplay, but rather because of its story, which is exceptional. The multiple endings complement each other and help the player better understand the game's universe as well as the development of the main character. The game becomes even more engaging if you try to come up with your own theories throughout the adventure. The characters are lovable, each with their own personality and personal struggles. The horror is very well executed. It leans much more toward psychological horror than jump scares, although there are a few of them from time to time. Este juego es una joyita a nivel narrativo y audiovisual. Las ilustraciones, los escenarios, la música, los personajes, la trama... Todos los elementos de la historia me parecen una maravilla. Recomiendo muchísimo jugarlo y dedicarle tiempo para obtener todos los finales porque realmente merece la pena y es la única forma de enterarse bien de la historia y los tejemanejes que esta implica. Y parar cerrar la reseña, tengo que decir que mis personajes favoritísimos son Harpae, ?????? y Egliette, en este orden en concreto ♡
