Reviews
I got to play this the second it was released on steam, on Twitch, and it was really awesome! A romantic horror visual novel. I greatly enjoyed the artwork and audio, they were really well done! The story was very interesting and I loved all the twists. I played this directly after the first game Playback Trauma: The Beach (the two are connected, dev confirmed) and loved the subtle parallels between the two games. Definitely enjoyed, and I had my chat decide what each character would say. Lots of reading, so get your character voices ready!
I like the visual style of the game, it really builds the atmosphere. The stories the characters tell really bring them to life.
Chocolate chip cookie superiority
I only played for about 10 minutes and already got bored so much that I stopped. All I got to do is click myself through a dialogue, I didn't even read fully in the end, because that would probably have taken me even longer. There was like 1 choice up until that and the dialogue wasn't any meaningfull at all, just random chit-chat with a stranger in a car. Talking about her home, her dog, her job... Given the developer says the game only lasts 1 or 2 hours, I do not expect much more. The atmosphere through music and image style is great, but I do neither feel playing a fun game or reading an interesting story. It's only annoying to click yourself through that meaningless dialogue.
