It's PvZ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, back when EA used to make good games.

Had a blast with this one. Jumping back into PVZ felt great, and the remaster looks clean. That said, I really wish they had added more original content — new levels, a new map, something that felt fresh instead of just a coat of paint. The biggest missed opportunity for me? The Chinese world. One level wasn't enough. I grew up doing that Easter egg every single time I played, and a full-blown Ancient China world could've been incredible — easily the most exciting thing they could've added. Instead it's just a nod. I hope EA brings back the original team and actually commits to supporting this. PVZ deserves better than half-measures. The way I see it, this is the franchise's last real shot before PVZ 3 (whenever that actually happens). They've got something worth saving here — I just hope they don't waste it.
