Wouldn't reccomend playing this game or buying it and its garbage as a pvz fan and dont waste 91 hours of your life of this game

The game is ok, Just not worth the price. If you want a fun experience with PVZ for a good price, just buy the GOTY edition for 5$ Also the retro pre order sucks ass

Eu não recomendo esse jogo e nem falo que é um péssimo, pois foi o primeiro jogo em que tive contato na minha vida toda, e demorei muito tempo para finalizar ele pelo o que eu me lembre, mas em comparação com o atual, acredito que se você seja fã da franquia é interessante adquirir ele, mas logo aviso que não houve muitas alterações do antigo para o novo, é mais uma aquisição pela nostalgia e por coleção no final das contas, e acredito que o valor de R$ 70 não condiz com o jogo, se ele fosse R$ 50 e em uma promoção fosse R$ 20 até valeria a pena, mas infelizmente paguei R$ 50 em uma promoção para ver se realmente haviam mudado algo, e não tem nada de novo, até que finalizei o modo aventura clássica em 2 horas no máximo, e diferente de antigamente, não houve muita diversão! Apenas uma memória vaga na qual me perdi, e deixei o capitalismo me vencer. Espero que um dia lancem o PvZ2 que é mobile, pois lá possuem muitas plantas e inovação de jogos, esse eu pagaria um valor de R$ 70! Enfim, só comprem se vocês realmente forem fã da série e quiserem uma nostalgia na qual quando jogou anos atrás, até porque se você for querer jogar e apenas se divertir, vale mais a pena o outro game o qual está mais barato.

It's PvZ, the game is amazing! Just like the original. The new challenges and game modes are very fun, but not super challenging. There are cool QoL features that makes the game feel more morden, while at the same time having more of a sloppy and less snappy gameplay feel Overall is a nice take on an amazing classic 9/10

Bought the game while it was on sale, and it's worth it. Sure you could just play the GOTY edition, but the game does feel very refreshing with the updated graphics and widescreen support. Also local coop..? Yet to have tried it but looks interesting. Fun, classic experience - I recommend.

Only get it if you're a HUGE fan of PVZ. This remaster offers some added content that adds an interesting challenge to the original game (which was infamously easy) and also includes a look at some bonus levels and cut-content that didn't make it into the original game. The Cloudy Day mode is a really fun challenge that forces you to really think strategically about how you manage your sun production while fending off the zombie horde at the same time. They also added the Rest In Peas mode which is a permadeath mode where zombie spawns are more frequent and you can't use lawnmowers, a really fun challenge that can bring some much-needed variety and challenge to veterans of the series, so it definitely gets some points for that. They also added several more endless modes, including a Survival Endless for each of the 5 biomes, which was much-needed. However like many remasters, this one was pretty much just a cash-grab and was made very sloppily. Most of the issues with this game are relatively minor but annoying contrivances that could have been easily fixed if EA didn't cut corners with its development. They are small, but appear frequently enough to be noticeable if not sometimes downright disruptive. Loading screens between every level, weird priorities for the curser to pick up sun/coins/use the shovel, Vasebreaker seed packets only being able to be used once they hit the floor rather than a split second after their vase is smashed (this sounds minor but actually makes a BIG difference when searching for squashes to kill Gargantuars since you need to do 2 back-to-back to prevent him from throwing an imp and ruining your setup; split-second timing is everything in those scenarios and can make or break a run), dancing zombies in I Zombie summoning minions less frequently, inability to use the shovel as quickly and chain it together with picking up items, Zen Garden items requiring more time to actually use, and at one point when buying from Crazy Dave's Twiddy Dinkies my balance somehow glitched to -$15,000. All in all it's nothing huge but it happens so much that it can be frustrating at the best of times and makes the gameplay feel less smooth and responsive. Still it has enough added features and extra content that is pretty well made and were really good ideas, which is good because once you're done everything in the original PVZ there's really not much reason to come back so it's nice to have some new content that gives a nice challenge to a series that was infamously easy. I'd say if you want it get it on sale, and only if you're just THAT desperate for additional PVZ content since the modding community already gives you a lot to work with; on that note I'd reccommend looking into the mod PVZ Fusion. 7/10
