Planet Zoo

I grew up with Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2 which were some of my favorite games. I tried to find modern games similar to them for so long, and they all fell short until Planet Zoo! Planet Zoo adds all the aspects I loved from those games, and so much more I didn't even know I needed. You don't place down a predesigned habitat, you can design every aspect and have so much freedom to make it exactly how you want. Animals have terrain and habitat needs, which I enjoy managing, but there is also a lot of freedom within those needs. The animals are beautiful and they've added so much detail that I never considered possible in a game like this. I love that there are so many goals to work on in both the career and franchise modes. My only con would be how many DLCs there are, but honestly when they are on sale I don't mind purchasing them to support the creators. I do also wish there were more career scenarios. If you loved the old Zoo Tycoons, you will love this game! I recommend going through the tutorials as it has a bit of a learning curve, then it is very addictive!

+Loved the career mode, kept me engaged and entertained for hours. Beautiful game, great for people who like building as the possibilities are endless. -Be prepared to watch a lot of youtube videos, that explain how the game works. They introduce a few basics and most of the content is skipped. Items do not even have descriptions or any explanations to them.
