Pixel Puzzles: Illustrations & Anime — Jigsaw Puzzles (2021, разработчик — Digital Puzzle Company) — цифровая коллекция пазлов с иллюстрациями и аниме‑артом. Суть: собирать виртуальные пазлы разных размеров и тематик в стиле аниме и иллюстраций. 5/10 Jigsaw puzzle TLDR: a clumsy implementation, with too few options. Neutral vote Good: + free (21 images) + good images So-so: +/- can't customize tiling. Each picture has only 1 pre-determined tiling setup (e.g. 216 pieces). Not a single picture with big pieces (minimal tiling is 96 pieces). On the other hand, each picture comes with its own piece shapes. Which suggests to me that pictures themselves have tiling as metadata. There is no generic splitting algo Bad: - no way to sort pieces without overlaps. Camera zoom is limited to just the board size. There are 7 trays where you can place pieces temporarily. But it's a lot of meaningless work to move pieces around only to see what they are. There are literally piles of pieces, with as many of 5 overlapping or stacking on top of each other. Ridiculous - can't load a custom image - can't connect matching pieces to move them as a group! You just need to place each on its correct spot on the board instead. The game offers 34 DLCs, each is just a few pictures, with prices like $0.50 to $1 per picture (so, you'd be paying $5 for a handful of images). I guess the dev is targeting pre-digital audience here which used to buy jigsaw puzzles on carton. Bad update for PC. Pieces DO NOT rotate. I tried right mouse, shift, space...none of them work (these were listed in the settings for key controls). The game is unplayable at the moment. Flash puzzle deadline needs extension until a couple weeks after this bug is fixed. Other puzzle games by this developer still work, as far as I know. I just did the Pixel Puzzles Ultimate Advent Calendar puzzle for Christmas day earlier today, I think. Hmmm...so I'm thinking the non-rotating pieces is intentional? Changes the whole game. This is not the game I bought in any way other than the topic and it being a jigsaw puzzle game. I'm hoping the other jigsaw puzzle games won't be updated the same way, unless the puzzle pieces will start fitting together in chunks like other people have wanted. I see that that Pixel Puzzles Traditional has gotten the same treatment now, with the pieces not being able to be rotated. It says in the patch notes that default is for the pieces not rotating, but I don't see any option to change that behavior, as in default is the only option. If anyone sees an option to unlock rotation, please comment on this review. I finally found the control for turning piece rotation on. It is in settings that are visible when you open a pack. I do not know if these settings work for puzzles outside of packs, like the flash puzzles, given I've already completed the current one. So, now, my only issue is the placement of the controls within the UI, given some people only do the flash puzzles and would never find them, the sorting tray not retaining the orientation of the pieces, and the choice to have rotation off as the default. The default now is even less like an actual jigsaw puzzle. Also, as of 02/12/2026 or before, the mouse-over tooltips for the puzzle controls are missing. If I didn't know any of the controls already, I would be stuck making mistakes to figure out what the control symbols mean. All the functionality is there, just not the best placement in the UI.

It's a fun Jigsaw puzzle game. But maybe play the microsoft jigsaw game instead.
Plenty of free puzzles, everything is customizable, puzzles of the month to expand the free offering.
