https://youtu.be/qZ1IXKUkn68 Very hollow game, "WAY over priced" for what's delivered. you'll get the same enemies over and over with no map, no menu, no story, no interactions with anyone or thing. just a constant reparative Dungun crawler. each level gets bigger with more enemies (which all look the same, no Bosses or anything like that, just the same enemies in 4 different colors) they hit harder each level until it's 2 hits to die with less ammo and health as you progress. it was fun for a bit but the lack of direction makes the bigger levels hard to navigate and the lack of diversity in enemies makes the gameplay boring. even at $1.99 I'd still feel disappointed. It's just not fun. (I'm sorry to the Dev, but I have to be honest)
Very boring game that drags on longer than it should. The plot is not reflected in the actual game whatsoever. Each level is just either a labyrinth, or a long hallway. All you do is run down the hallway, kill enemies, rinse, repeat. Attacks are very hit-or-miss. Sometimes enemies die, sometimes they don't. There's no feedback as to what actually causes them to die vs not dying. In the first area of the game there is a "secret area" that claims you will probably die, but is actually one of the easier segments. At the end of this segment you get the best weapon in the game which trivializes everything else. The actual weapons are terrible, and not fun. A lot of the environments are extremely dark, and colors are not consistent between levels. The movement speed is very slow and you do not have any way to speed up, only dash. And all the levels feel about 50% longer than they need to be, and most of it is just literally running. This just is not a fun game. Sorry. It's a long slog and you don't get anything at the end. Oh, the dev did forget to disable console commands though so you can just noclip through everything.
Setting: Scott Craighead's boardroom. Sweaty imaginary developers crowd around a table. ENTER: Craig. Craig: Alright boys, I've got good news: I'm going to cook-up the "Most Insane Designed Dungeon of All Time". But, we still need some kind of threat, some unique enemies! and we need to make it SNAPPY!. I've snorted all the coke I had in my office and my dealer is caught in traffic, so I have precisely f' all. I need IDEAS, people! IDEAS!! Imaginary Developer 1, puffing on a joint: Well, let's grab those annoying floating fire atronachs from SKYRIM... but have them walking! zones the f' out Craig: I like it, but it needs more ZAZZ! Imaginary Developer 2, constantly twitching, whining: We... We... We should probably add more than just atronachs from Skyrim... Craig: slaps Imaginary Developer 2 Get yourself together, you blubbering twit! Imaginary Developer 2 faints Imaginary Developer 3: I got it! Don't slap me! We can make tons of 'multicolored' versions of the atronachs from Skyrim, and fill the corridors with them--to the brim! And to make it exciting, we'll allow the atronachs to cast homing projectiles! Imaginary Developer 1, toooootalllllllyyy in the zone, maaaaaan: You mean like, laser beams and sh&t? Imaginary Developer 3 nervously glancing at Craig: Y... yes..? Craig: ominously paces around the room, rubs bald head - So, lots more combat with enemies the player has already fought, but with different colors and homing projectiles in tight corridors? I LIKE IT! But it still needs more ZAZZ! COME ON, PEOPLE! THINK!!! Imaginary Developer 4: stumbles into the room drunk off his arse, with his fly undone and his weenis hanging out HIC! Craig: YOU! Yes, YOU! WHAT HAVE YOU GOT? Imaginary Developer 4: MAKE THE GREEN ONES KILL YOU IN TWO SHOTS AND THE WHITE ONES USE RAPID FIRE HOMING PROJECTILES AND FILL AN ENTIRE AREA WITH THEM SO THAT YOU GET SLAUGHTERED EVEN ON NORMAL!--LOL. trips over a chair, falls down OMINOUS SILENCE Craig: Son, what is your name? Imaginary Developer 4: Hic! Um..?! Bob?!? Craig: Bob? You are a GOTDANG GENIUS, Bob. Here are the keys to my house. Go there and f*** my wife. Imaginary Developer 4: But sir, you don't have a wife... HIC! Craig: You're right, Bob... You're right. drops his pants around his ankles and waddles toward Bob ominously. FADE TO BLACK 10/10 - Can't wait to finish it.
A blast from the past but new and fresh.. only a couple levels in but enjoying it!
This game is immersive! Its got great level design. It's strange and I love it and its just an all around awesome game.
Wow. This is a tour de force of some of the worst possible design choices. No way to aim your weapons? Check! Shotgun-type weapons with impossibly bad spreads? Check! One enemy model for everything? Check! More walking than a walking simulator? Check! Darkness everywhere? Check! Enemies that are undodgeable and take off huge chunks when they're not braindead and easy to pick off? Check! Ugly backgrounds? Check! Total lack of boss fights? Check! No story to speak of whatsoever? Check! TEN ****ING GB TO INSTALL A ONE-HOUR GAME?! Check. There is nothing good about this game unless you are absolutely obsessed with Doom-style shooters and will play anything in that genre, good or bad. The difficulty is a cakewalk unless you get hit by one of those BS bouncing fireball grenades for half your health, and you're just stuck doing a bunch of walking and not really facing any other challenge. Avoid.

Pitch Silent is a first-person shooter with a weak gameplay. You just walk through unknown locations and kill one-type enemies. There's no lore or any story in this game. Developer is claiming that everything's explaining in the end of the game but I don't have a desire to complete something that doesn't have meaning from the beginning. For the time that I've played I received 3 types of weapons. The first was mace and it's the most powerful weapon in the game. You can kill enemies with just one hit. Then you'll receive 2 types of spheres that shoot with 1 shot or as a machine gun. But you need to use about 10 bullets with this weapon to kill enemies. The graphics are poor, all locations are look the same and they're boring and unsightly. The enemies design is also bad quality. They're all look the same just with different colours. There's no bosses or something else. Locations have invisible walls and on the contrary holes through which you can exit from textures. The sounds are not so bad but they're quite standard for this type of extremely budget indie games. The controls are mostly ok but there's an annoying gap between hits of a mace. I think that it should be replaced with a slower hit or just be removed. Verdict. A very weak try to make something new with an oldschool shooters gameplay. The developer declares all the disadvantages as advantages but we see what it is for real. The game is unique and fun. It plays smoothly. you'll have 6 weapons by the end of the game that you can choose from. It has a unique atmosphere that I enjoyed playing. It took me less than 3 hours to finish it on very hard difficulty, although I believe you can finish it in 2 hours if you want to speedrun though it. you can watch the gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gq5DQa8Orw
The game is very atmospheric. The locations are just perfect. The graphics of the locations are simply amazing. The game itself is not difficult, as it seemed to me. Perhaps, this is because I found a secret passage at the very beginning, where there was mega weapon with which it was easy for me to pass all the locations on the normal difficulty level without any problems. But without this weapon, I think it would have been much more difficult. There are several types of weapons in the game and with each level, the enemies become more difficult and the atmosphere in the game becomes more and more frightening, and then completely scary. I definitely recommend this game to everyone. I did not waste my time!
