About
In a world of countless tiers, stars are divided into zones based on the strength of their light.
The protagonist, Pio, born with a faint light, begins their journey in the lowest tier, the Graveyard of Stars, yet carries a deep longing for the upper tiers.
To realize this dream, Pio takes on the Trials of the Stars, aiming to ascend to the higher realms.

Pio is a unique action platformer where players use the terrain they stand on to attack enemies.
The game's standout feature is that the player's bullets also serve as terrain.

The more bullets you fire, the smaller the terrain becomes, demanding precise control. On the other hand, conserving bullets means enduring the onslaught of powerful monsters.
Experience this innovative action gameplay as you strategically manage your terrain and bullets to overcome challenges!
As you continue to face challenges, a more dreamlike world of stars unfolds.
Embark on a shining journey and explore a unique world!

I honestly love the idea and visual style of this game but do have one issue: The controller support is woeful, which made me sad as I'm super uncomfortable using keyboard for gaming. It suggests that controllers work with the game but they just don't. I even tried using joy2key but the gane refused to acknowledge it. Other than that one issue this game is utterly charming and a fun albeit short challenge. If you have an hour or 2 and don't mind using keyboard its absolutely worth a go.
Nice short game with beautiful visuals and unique mechanics. The controls were a bit confusing at first, but then became fun as more game elements were introduced. The end boss was quite challenging, but I enjoyed my time playing it. The only thing it misses IMO is some voice lines for the characters. Also, I wasn't able to configure my controller to work properly with the game, so I had to set it in keyboard mode. You can beat it under 1 hour.
no wifi needed kinda hard
Very fun but VERY DIFFICULT, its hard to stay on the star boxes and them you die, otherwise cute but hard to play
amazing game
pio着游戏不知道为啥没人玩,这小玩意挺可爱的啊
Although I'm not good at this kind of fighting-platformer games, I really enjoyed it! The designs, the atmosphere, the colors are so pretty and unique! Our main character is so cute! Ther combat is really challenging, but in the best way possible. It's thrilling.
