About
In Pinball With A Gun, your job is to simply play pinball like you normally would. Don't tell anybody where you are, it'll be totally fine! Nobody's even watching! If you must, invite your besties for some friendly competition!
Step up, pull that plunger, and pray you make it to the next round!

Official Tournament F.A.Q.
"What if I get shot in the head?" That's a weird question! You're weird for asking! That barely even happens in Pinball! Why don't you focus on playing, and not pivoting to ridiculous, unrelated questions!
"Is this just a game to you, sick freaks?" Absolutely! Pinball with a Gun features 30+ story-mode levels, lore-packed cutscenes, unlockable cosmetics tied to 70+ achievements, an Infinite Tournament with global and friends-only leaderboards, and online PvP!
"What is this tournament? Why are you doing this? Help me!" There are no secrets in this game, and getting a high score will not reveal anything to you. Do not attempt to leave the machine. You worry about having fun, and let the machine do the rest!
"Can I play this on Steam Deck?" Pinball with a Gun is optimized to run great on a Steam Deck! Pinball with a Gun is available on Windows, Linux/SteamOS, and Mac. It can also be played with a controller or keyboard and mouse.

"What if I shake the machine?" For our legal safety, we are required to inform you that we cannot guarantee your safety in the event of a shaken machine. But it's not like there are cops around, so do whatever you want!
"Who am I playing against?" Don't worry about that. Feel free to come to the tournament alone, or you can bring your friends for online multiplayer. You can also compete against the world and your friends on the Infinite Tournament leaderboards! Walloo!

Very unique game! Love the concept. I wish the gun was more prominent - easy to miss it since it's pointed directly at you and it's not shown in profile. Also easy to miss the gun shot at you, but no bullet was in the chamber. Good visuals, solid pinball juice. Took a little bit to realize you could jiggle the cabinet to save 'lost' balls, but is very fun once you get the hang of it. It also (surprisingly) has an online multiplayer tournament mode, which we played at a LAN party and was super fun! Overall definitely worth a try for pinheads and adrenaline junkies alike!
This game is way too fun for its own good. I wish this released on a weekend because I wanna get back to it ASAP.
Fun little concept, love the humor. tables aren't overly stimulating, while still have enough on them to keep from being boring. RNG can suck sometimes but who expected anything different. I can see the tilt/slam potentially being a way to cause the game to stagnate. pretty fun for it's price.
I’ve been playing this game for a while now. I started playing as a tester before it was a demo and actually hit top 5 on the leaderboards, which was pretty sick. I first played it on PC, but it was then made steam deck compatible and I much prefer it. The controls are super smooth, it has real pinball feels and being able to shake and tilt the table just adds to it and makes everything more immersive. The animations are really cute (the scrolling papers for tier tracking), totally original, and the sound bites are great… even if they start to get a little annoying when you’re dying over and over (which happens a lot lol). I really like the darker twist the game has going on, and the death achievements are funny as hell. The trailer made me chuckle. Since its release I’ve made it through Act One and watched the cutscene, but I’ve mostly been vibing in multiplayer. Overall, it’s just a really fun game.
Huge pinball nerd, here. This game is a blast. Awesome and unique gameplay loop. I do think the game needs a tad bit more content in the future. But for $8, it's not bad!
this gives me joy and ive only just started, gives me heavy buckshot roulette vibes, great controls. if your looking for a game to give you pinball nostalgia it hit me INSTANTLY, so far ive only fully got my hands on the multiplayer. only issue im having is the menu is hard to select through, i tend to lose what ive hovered over if im on controller. and a not so important non existent party system (it would be nice to not have to re invite everytime but im sure im asking for alot). other then that this game is beautiful.
The concept is solid, but when your sound samples are seemingly intentionally absolute dogwater and default to 'Troll Volume' level, especially with the damage effects, particularly the gun, which is painful under headphones, you aren't exactly signaling that you want the player to make it through the experience. Not a great way to get me to continue playing your game. I'll grant that the preview video uses the awful voice clips in the, but the nature of it being a processed video hides how grating they are in game. AND you can't configure controls, meaning I can't rebind the plunger to the RIGHT stick, where EVERY TABLE AND GAME ON EARTH PUTS THE PLUNGER. The physics are fine, I can't stand the pointless zoom (I assume it's to look at background details, but I didn't care to get far enough into the game to look that deep into it), or it being tied to R3. I do like the mechanic of the easy side gutter save. Much easier than the real thing. Really cool concept with an absolute trash experience in doing so. The game just came out recently, so, we'll see if those corners can be rounded out. But if this is the intended experience? No thank you. Go play Clover Pit if you want this flavor of experience (not pinball, but casual game with a consequence). Similar visual flavor, similar overt danger vibe.
I don't usually play pinball games. I'm bad at pinball. But i LOVE this game. it's very, very, very good. You should buy it.
Absolutely loving the storymode of this game so far and I'm excited to try the multiplayer! Super addicting and it makes me furious but when I win I feel like the best gamer to ever grace the Steam library with my presence (particularily when my opponent loses on their first ball). Here are a few of the highlights for me so far: The visuals, sound, and music: Just a really cool art style and it both looks great and fits the concept. Same story for the sounds and I had fun imagining the gunshot sound as a Vineboom The controls: Took me a while to get used to them, but they feel great as soon as you start to figure them out. Haven't tried it on the keyboard yet, but I'm loving it on my Xbox controller. The humour: The narrator is hilarious and the one cutscene I've seen so far made me laugh aloud. The progression (plus RNG): As someone who isn't super skilled at games, including this one, I actually really like the RNG. I always feel like I'm making progress, since the repeats give me practice, but when I get stuck, I know I'm eventually bound to beat the opponent through sheer luck. Really enjoying playing this game and I'm excited to rope in some of my buddies into playing with me. Especially the ones that are prone to anger. In summary, when I lose on my first chamber: game = #RiggedAndTrash; when my opponent loses on their first chamber: game = perfect and skill based
