Pieces of the Past

Love the story. It was cute and relaxing till I got to the jewelry box with the ballerina in moms room. No matter what angle I've tried, I cannot get this little doll to piece together. Leaving my game unfinished. Sad. 3/5 stars, overall its cute sweet and relaxing but the controls for rotating are a tad wonky, dampening the relaxation factor.

If you're looking for a cozy game, you're in the right place. Pieces of the Past offers a relaxing vibe and chill puzzles to solve. Definitely worth trying!

Assemble With Care ran so Pieces of the Past could walk. It's cute little game in a genre that I normally enjoy, but it's far too short and simple for the price listed. I completed it in 1.5 hours and I doubt anyone could get more than 2 hours of playtime out of this game. If it were $2-3, I would recommend it as-is. The plot is lacking, there's a decent foundation that could have been expanded upon but was not. Instead, the player is left wanting. We are told that the main character has a troubled relationship with their family, specifically their mother, but given no examples for why that is. Everything we learn is very surface-level and there's just enough plot to leave you frustrated at the lack of further exploration. I think this game has the potential to be worth the $7 price tag, but it needs a major update with more puzzles, better puzzles, and a plot that expands upon the foundation established in this current version.

It's easy and fun to play. The interface and voice acting are excellent. I recommend playing it.

i cannot put the glue on the mothers diary at all, have tried all angles and even turning off and on the game. kindly fix this bug. also cute game but the controls are more complex than the game, unfortunately, if you dont have a mouse you wont be able to do most of the things, also very short, reached the second last room in 75 minutes. tbh even the storyline doesnt have much story in it, just small 1-1 lines. but i dont really mind the story as much, what bugs me is that during cleaning levels, it would clean up all before you even finished, but during the rock filer part, even after you finished it, small little particles, invisible are left, i got stuck in the ballerina level because of it, put the filer on every spot and then it worked. honestly a lot of bugs, go for it if you are getting it on sale, otherwise its not that worth, play assemble with care, its better. i was really excited for this game, was in my wishlist since forever, but the bugs and controls are killing all my excitement i had for this game.
