Hiroshi Honda is a role model for us all. His story should be taught in schools.
An epic adventure, a rollercoaster of emotions, it's MGS in visual novel form.
this was the game.
a game filled to the brim with impressive graphics, storytelling, visuals, characters and phucking. would play if new game came out
Ryukaze Terra and Hiroshi Honda are the greatest duo in all of literature.
I phucked so many ashes! Ladies and Gentlemen. I have seen the genius of the adventures of Ryukaze Terra and his cohort. I do hope that this game, this masterpiece, gets the acknowledgement it deserves. But for now, it is we, who shall benefit from its infinite wit and clever, moving, and uproarious antics. while like Hitchhiker's Guide the the Galaxy, it has story deviations between mediums, this is actually intentional to show a deeper meta-narrative from other releases in the larger phucker phranchise of media and entertainment across comics, films, stage plays, music albums, novels and table top rpg campaigns. Though I understand if someone might think that the differences are due to some lack of cohesive narrative, once you see the intentions of Lazrool and GZ Storm to create divergent story that culminates in a world lines convergence you will see how it all weaves together and hope to see how it plays out.
This is a very strange but very fun experience. A phenominal parody of Japanese visual novel games, that uses the format perfectly to explore a ridiculous and enthralling world while simultaneously poking fun at the genre. I got a solid day or two of enjoyment out of this, playing the whole series, and getting all the achievements. I could see however how some people could be turned off by the two main characters being middle aged creeps, and cringey losers. I found their behaviour more comical in it's ludicrousness and pathetic nature than it was upsetting, but I could totally see someone sensitive being upset by how they act. Other than that, absolutely worth every penny I spent on it. 9.5/10
gut
I can't spoil anything, but if you need a good laugh then I recommend purchasing this captivating story.
The developer dropped a shadow update before I could finish the trilogy and they completely changed the character models. It really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my head for a while. Anyway 10/10, great game.
