Phase Ninja

[h1]ブラッシュアップされれば…[/h1] 各ステージで規定数の敵を倒して進んでいく横スクロールアクションゲーム。二段ジャンプや一定時間無敵になる特殊能力などを使い、ボスの撃破を目指す。移動はWASDまたはカーソルだが、左/右＋Shift＋Vのダッシュ攻撃がある都合上、個人的にはカーソル移動がオススメ。ゲームオーバーになることなく、30分ぐらいでクリアは出来た。 別にいいかなと思うところではあるが、各種処理関係がいまいちな予感。 左右移動やジャンプはきちんと入力を受け付けてくれるが、攻撃に関しては出たり出なかったりとムラがある。定期的に攻撃が出せない状態があるので処理関係だとは思うが、攻撃回数の2-3倍のスペース押下が必要になってダルい。これが一番ストレスだった。 また、ダメージ処理も何か怪しい。ダッシュ攻撃は見た目以上に範囲が狭く、通常攻撃＋αぐらいのイメージ。特に遠くから終わりを当てる感じで出すとダメ。一方で敵の攻撃はノーモーションで食らうことが多々ある（特に騎兵。ダッシュで突っ込むと分かる）。かと思えば、正しいのだが銃は銃弾にしか判定がないので近づけばノーダメ。 あとは、ジャンプの出番が一切無いだとか、壁に着地判定があるので壁のぼりで向こう側にいけるだとか、気になる点は多々ある。敵AIにしても近づいてくるだけなので、銃兵は一定距離をとるようにしたらそれだけでプレイ感は変わるだろうし、もう少しブラッシュアップして欲しいと思った。おすすめでも構わないが、入力しているのに操作を受け付けないというのが嫌いなのでオススメしない。

"Phase Ninja" is a comically bad hand drawn/MS-Paint tier side scrolling platform/brawler. I'm glad that there are screenshots for this because words simply cannot properly describe just how bad the "art" is here. The inclination is to be grateful that this is not just another of thousands of asset flips on Steam. Surely a good thing! But it's no better when a developer doesn't have the budget/talent to create their own assets properly, too. The end result of such an attempt to make a game without the appropriate skill to do so has the same value as an asset flip... zero. The only amusement such games offer is for us to laugh at the joke reviews mocking how bad the game is. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Мне очень понравилось, как интуитивно понятно и одновременно сложно реализована система переключения между материальным и нематериальным миром. Это позволяет не только ловко избегать препятствий и врагов, но и находить скрытые пути и секреты на уровнях. Визуально игра выполнена в приятном пиксельном стиле, который отдает дань уважения классическим играм, но при этом выглядит современно и свежо. Уровни хорошо проработаны и предлагают разнообразные испытания, требующие как скорости реакции, так и стратегического планирования. Музыкальное сопровождение отлично дополняет атмосферу и создает напряжение в динамичные моменты. Единственный минус, который могу отметить - это некоторая сложность на поздних этапах. Игра становится довольно требовательной к навыкам игрока, но в то же время это и является ее достоинством, так как подталкивает к совершенствованию и освоению всех тонкостей механики. В целом, 'Phase Ninja' - отличная игра для тех, кто ищет захватывающий и сложный платформер с уникальной игровой механикой. Рекомендую к ознакомлению!
