I love this game. Of course it has not the pace or the graphics or sounds of modern games but the charme of the original ones which it's a remake of. I played the original on my dad's computer 30 years ago and never finished the forth pyramid. It was so damn hard. And this one is hard too *g*. I like the improvements the developer added like the hierogylphs around the playfield which are decoration only. But the spider is a tough new enemy and the two new potions fit in well. The first two levels are rather relaxing, there are just ghosts and mummies as wandering enemies but the third level and above becomes tough really quick. I am really looking forward to the modern mode. I am curious if it will become a real 3D-maze or stay the plain 2D-maze but with 3D-characters.
A great entertaining Maze Game. I don't know the original Pharao or Fred, but I started playing Pharao Reloaded since a friend recommended it to me. At first, I was not really happy due to the "original not so smooth graphic and weird sound" but with the new graphic and sound modes, I really started to enjoy it. It's nice if you just want to relax a bit and as soon as you start a level, you definitely want to finish it (I gave up once, where I ended up in the same dead end three times, due to my not available skill) :) I love the simple concept - just have fun for some time, trying to avoid the ghosts, mummies, spiders and other living things in the pyramid and get frustrated when you see the exit but there’s a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wall between you and the freedom, or you only have one live point (heart) left and there is a damn ghost in front of you. But you are lucky, you have three bullets left. Within one second you fire all three of them in the face of the ghost, smelling the fresh air coming from the exit... Then you realize your mistake... The ghost changes its direction, looks at your face, laughs, flies through your body and takes your last heart. - True story (maybe) :) If you like "retro games", just give it a try, I'm sure it will brighten up some of your days. See you in the pyramid :)
Great game, I really liked the Multiplayer mode and the smooth UI. Very creative enhancement options for the original mode!
Had quite some fun with friends when playing Multiplayer. Its fantastic if you enjoy 8bit playstile
This is a really attractive game, I like it very much. Especially after I found out how to fire with "space" and the speed can be set quicker, I have then a wonderful gaming experience. I like to play this game when I need to set my mind free, I can just walk around the maze to collect treasure, map and find the exit. There is always a rope waiting on the end of the road to lift me up. It is highly recommended people to try this game, when you feel you like spend some time to set your mind free and at the same time make a smalll advanture in old Egypt.
This is a very nice "enhanced remake" of the old 8-bit game Fred.
