People Playground

PPG is a really fun physics sandbox with so much detail put into it BUT the management of the workshop by the devs has been horrid and the viruses that plague this game are just getting worse and worse. I've completely given up hope on PPG because installing any mods means you're taking the gamble of the next big virus that hijacks your files and steam/discord acc. DNI with this game until the dev takes more coding classes to stop this game from being so easy to hack. That being said if you don't care about having your personal files erased, having your friends spammed with slurs, having your discord be hacked, etc. or you'll just uninstall the mod folder instantly/ not install any mods then I guess you could buy it but there are many alternatives for gore/physics based sandboxes.

The devs don't know how to maintain a game's moderation.

The security behind this game isn't sufficient for public use. People Playground has dealt with malicious workshop mods THREE TIMES now, the latest of which had potential to explode into disaster - [strike]those involved in the attack simply didn't[/strike] so it actually did explode into disaster: https://www.reddit.com/r/peopleplayground/comments/1wmn16s/fps_new_virus_full_breakdown/ Even if the dev stated that most of this didn't happen, I'm willing to trust the broader community on this one. As someone who creates mods for other games, I cannot recommend this game in good faith. The lack of security in this game is unacceptable, and has zero excuses - the developer should've hired a security analyst, to conduct a full security audit on the entire modding system. Do not touch this game anymore, for the sake of your personal security.

Very cool game if you like suspicious workshop mods and devs that don't know how to prevent that

This games workshop keeps getting attacked with actual real pc damaging malware multiple times its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Context edit: There are multiple viruses going around the workshop that do stuff they should NOT be able to do. Like not just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like deleting your mods or stuff like that but like actual malware that escapes the game, drops files, shreds files in multiple directorys, *allegedly* resets all progress you have in all games you have, takes control of your steam account, etc. NO MOD SHOULD BE ABLE TO THAT. Any game with mods should have a custom modding API that gives the mods access to specific systems and functions in the games engine, this game apparently, according to people ive talked to gives mods access to the ENTIRE GAME ENGINE which is extremely unsecure and dangorus. No security I cant fully blame the devs for this, its not their fault, but you need to fix your modding system This is the second time its happened and the malware has gotten WAY WAY more advanced the second time, so imagine what it could be if another one is released

This game is garbage nowadays. Zooi, the sole developer in the soulless husk of a former game dev studio "Studio Minus", refuses to actually make any security updates for his game, nor does he actually care about the well-being of his playerbase. The game is FILLED TO THE BRIM with infected mods and not to mention their Discord server is a unbearable bigoted mess. Refund everyone who bought this crap, then LEAVE THE INDIE GAME SCENE.
