On the first impression it may seem as simple and boring game, but don't be fooled. It gets really clever and difficult later, while presenting emotional scenes from a memory of a person's mind.
Challenging yet relaxing game. Reminds me of the hours spent on Sokoban but in an up to date package. It's also working flawlessly on Linux so it's well worth the asking price.

When I saw there was a game based on Psychopath, I had to check it out. Initially, I was worried that the levels wouldn't be hard or diverse, since Psychopath 1 and 2 were powered by a large community creating levels. There was no need to worry, though. Most of the levels are solid and interesting, and there are a few truly excellent levels. It's very impressive what they have done with a (presumably small) dev team. I'm currently trying to unlock Ego XI, and the levels are getting very difficult :) The execution is good too; the game feels pretty smooth. I don't have a strong opinion on the story, but it certainly doesn't hurt to have it. (Edit: I do like the Level XII part of the story. I'll have to see what else is past this.) The level names are often very clever and the level structures do seem to be thematically related to the story. One criticism - I find the ice blocks and the regular blocks hard to distinguish, which may just be because I'm colorblind. I have also been holding my breath for difficult PP1-style levels, but this is more personal preference than anything wrong with the game. And perhaps they are coming later. (Edit: Orchid does the trick :) Stuck 2 off.) Overall, five stars and well worth the price!
"PATHOS" is a ripoff of Sokoban (at least the developers admit it) that somehow has even worse graphics than the old 1990's Flash game (that almost requires effort to do a job that badly). There's 150 levels, but more of a bad thing doesn't make it better. Needless to say this was a dismal failure here on Steam Direct. What do you do in the game? It's Sokoban. Push boxes around. There's a plethora of new gimmicks, but it does little to change the fact you might as well be playing a Flash game in 2025 on a bleeding edge gaming rig. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. In fact if they had launched this as a browser game with ad support, they probably would have made more money, but I'm not here to help developers get paid for bad products. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. This game is fairly dated at 8 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 8 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
I enjoy this game, but lately the story text has disappeared and there's no way for me to add it back in with the new update. I'm a little disappointed.
Very tough but worth the money!
A good puzzle game in the sokoban-style in which you have to find the optimal way, in term of number of moves, to solve each level.
Худшая игра. Худшая. Невообразимо, насколько это ужасный и неудобный экспириенс для головоломки. Ты будешь кричать. Всего лишь пара функций сделали бы геймплей комфортнее. Ctrl+Z.
